Cri-Cri is known as the "grillito cantor" or "the singing cricket". He is a character created by Francisco Gabilondo Soler in his childhood and may even be considered "his inner personality"
The character became so famous and gave its author such renown, that it became a second name for Gabilondo. In the mid part of the 20th century he became the most recognizable singer of children's songs in Spanish. Gabilondo's dedication to this segment of the population has been greatly admired, comparable to Walt Disney in his honest approach to making life fun for those who are getting started in life.

Patos, perros y gatos, y conejitos de blanca piel gritan al ir montados en su corcel
Arre caballito!

"Carrusel," a beloved children's song by Mexican composer Francisco Gabilondo Soler, better known as "Cri-Cri," describes the joy and excitement of riding a carousel. The song has a playful and upbeat melody, reflecting the carefree spirit of childhood. In the lyrics, the singer describes the experience of riding on the carousel's wooden horses, which prance and jump to the sound of their bells. The animals on the carousel include not just horses, but also ducks, dogs, cats, and white bunnies. The singer encourages the horses to go faster, exclaiming "arre caballito!" and expressing a desire to gallop with them. The song concludes by emphasizing the continuous circling of the carousel, which keeps the riders on an endless, exhilarating ride.
