Cri-Cri is known as the "grillito cantor" or "the singing cricket". He is a character created by Francisco Gabilondo Soler in his childhood and may even be considered "his inner personality"
The character became so famous and gave its author such renown, that it became a second name for Gabilondo. In the mid part of the 20th century he became the most recognizable singer of children's songs in Spanish. Gabilondo's dedication to this segment of the population has been greatly admired, comparable to Walt Disney in his honest approach to making life fun for those who are getting started in life.
Cochinitos Dormilones

The song "Cochinitos Dormilones" by Cri-Cri, which means "Sleepy Piglets" in English, is an adorable lullaby about three little piglets who are getting ready for bed. The pigs are tucked in by their mother with lots of kisses, and they wear cozy pajamas to keep warm while they sleep. The song describes how each piglet has their own unique dreams while they sleep. One piglet dreams of being a king and having 500 cakes for himself, while another piglet dreams of being on a boat in the sea but falls off the bed and cries. The smallest piglet dreams of working hard to help his poor mother. The song creates a beautiful image of the pigs' peaceful dreamland, where they can play and have fun together without waking up.
