1) A ska punk band from Moscow, Russian Federation.
They started playing in 1989 as a hardcore band, but over time their style slowly changed to ska punk, and in 1995 they released "Gorod" - one of the most prominent and truly "ska punk" albums of their career, according to most of their fans. They are still active and recording at a rate of about 1 album per year.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Distemper's song "Бультерьер" tell the story of a thin and hungry bulldog left in a shed by its drunk and neglectful owners. The dog has not eaten in two days, and the only thing left for it to eat is a bone that the owners cook for their lunch. A neighboring woman with large breasts walks by the shed, distracting the dog from its hunger. The bulldog breaks free from its chains and chases after the woman, catching her by the butt. The owners are left reeling from the incident, and find the dog's feces in their garden every day as a reminder of what happened.
