When man interferes with the Tao,
The sky becomes filthy,
The Earth becomes depleted,
The equilibrium crumbles,
Creatures become extinct.
~~The Buddha~~
I would like to share a revelation I had during my time among the human race. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you are not true mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium- a symbiotic relationship- with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and replicate without any natural limits to population growth until every natural resource is consumed and all other life is extinguished. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same destructive pattern- a virus. Human beings are a pernicious disease- a metastasizing cancer on Mother Earth. You are a plague and we are the cure.

We really need more people in this day and age, who actually care about the wild, unlike the mainstream environmental movement who only care about it because of how it affects their way of life at this particular moment. Rest in power Dave Foreman (1946 - 2022)
@PrinceOfMatcha
I think its unfortunate that people don't care about the environment unless they can turn a financial profit from it. Bless this earth, being destroyed by vile humans.
@icarusburning2208
Good, it's nice to see people coming together in defense of something every other "good upstanding american citizen" cannot see to be of very much importance. I believe in humans and want to see the spirit of love come through us to make our highest good realized. The individuals out here wanting to take the stance that this is unnecessary and wrong are stuck wide asleep and don't realize their own end already being written on the wall.
@MaineOffGrid.
Thank you for sharing this video, I always love seeing footage of the early days. Earth First! needs another Dave Foreman. I wonder how many of the people in the crowd there were the FBI?
@olivialim7541
32:18 "I'd call it terrorism" sure, because removing stickers from trees marked for destruction = terrorism. how dare you insult the memory of the victims of true terrorism?
@ronaldbohn7822
I pray for and will always support those brothers and sisters who are determined to rise up and defend our Mother Earth.No Compromise.

Literally no one cares hippy, shut it.

Considering we depend on this planet to keep us alive, even with industrialization, I'm amazed at the resistance to protecting natural resources for future generations. It's as if we hate our descendants, if not our own species for the sake of consuming more and more.
@leatherfaced
Where can someone get a copy of this footage?
@marianomariano968
Hi , it is possible subtitles in spanish ( better ) or english
