Through 2006, they kept on playing live shows and in 2007 they took a break from playing live so they could start working on their first album, which was due sometime around 2008. The album's name will be Nature/Existence and it should come out some time in 2009. Besides this, the band will be appearing in two compilation albums put together by Colossus Magazine (Finland) and Musea Records (France): Rökstenen: a tribute to Swedish progressive rock of the 70's and Paradiso based on Dante's Divine Comedy.

Their music has been described as "perfect sweeping soundscapes", and they bring a fresh style to the young UK hardcore scene.

(16) (Incorrect redirect) Echos, the Portland duo, fall into a genreless mist of both cinematic post-rock style instrumentation and left-of-center pop writing; paving a new path, and style along the way. Clash Magazine notes Echos are "Oddly infectious […] in an electronic haze”. Often self-referential and coated in bitter-romance lyricism, Echos brings the angst of 2006’s emo days and reinvents it with 2018’s anti-pop pop-music. Have been working with with online promotional mecca ‘MrSuicideSheep’ and his label ‘Seeking Blue’ for the last 3+ years – Echos has seen the fortune of millions of streams, impressions, and eyes on their music. Finding importance in the physical, Echos has not only seen gains digitally, but they have found themselves supporting large-room sold out tours with electronic acts like Illenium, on the festival stages of Electric Forest, Snowglobe, and more as well as a bus tour with Alternative metal good-boys ‘I See Stars’.

Echoes Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Oh destiny
Oh destiny
Oh refugee
Oh refugee
Oh refugee
The song "亡命者" by Echoes explores the complexities and struggles inherent in the relationship between men and women. From the moment they are born, both men and women are bound to experience a range of emotions: pain, sadness, joy, anger, laughter, and despair. These emotions are part of their destiny, something they cannot escape. The lyrics emphasize that the border between men and women is like a wall, but people still strive to cross it in search of love and freedom.
The song challenges the idea of gender equality, suggesting that it is a false concept when it comes to love. In the realm of love, ideologies regarding equality become meaningless. Love has the power to enslave those who fall into its grasp, becoming their master and dictating how they live. The lyrics highlight the irony of this situation, questioning the notion of equality and suggesting that love is a force that transcends any societal construct.
Throughout history, love has been a source of conflict and contention. Despite this, people have always yearned for love and have been unable to stop seeking it. The song suggests that men accumulate vulnerabilities and weaknesses that women cannot perceive, while women accumulate only pain from their inability to become men. The lyrics evoke the image of reckless love and irrational infatuation, as they describe love as both defenseless and daring. The song implies that men and women realize their differences and the power they hold over each other when they come together in the pursuit of love.
The chorus of the song emphasizes the inescapable nature of men and women's existence. Just by being born as men and women, they are bound to experience the various emotions and struggles mentioned earlier. The mention of destiny implies that these experiences are an inherent part of their lives. The lyrics also touch on the idea of being a "refugee," suggesting that both men and women find solace and purpose in being loved and loving in return. Their differences and the power they possess have the potential to change the world, implying that the bond between men and women has a transformative effect on society.
