Medley: I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine / A Foggy Day
Eddie Fisher Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The sun contains a ray
They label Vitamin D
If you like Vitamin D
It's quite alright with me
But I am here to say
That I like vitamin love
But I can't get vitamin love
With that doggone sun above

I don't care if the sun don't shine
I get my lovin' in the evening time
When I'm with my baby

It's no fun with the sun around
But I get going when the sun goes down
And I meet my baby

That's when we kiss and kiss and kiss
And then we kiss some more
Don't ask how many times we kiss
At a time like this, who keeps score?

So I don't care if the sun don't shine
I get my lovin' in the evening time
When I'm with my baby

That's when we kiss and kiss and kiss
And then we kiss some more
Don't ask how many times we kiss
At a time like this, who keeps score?

So I don't care if the sun don't shine

I get my lovin' in the evening time
When I'm with my baby

Overall Meaning

These lyrics from Eddie Fisher's song Medley: I Don't Care If The Sun Don't Shine / A Foggy Day convey a playful and lighthearted attitude towards love and the sun.

In the first paragraph, Fisher discusses the importance of Vitamin D, which is obtained from the sun. However, he expresses his preference for "vitamin love" instead, implying that he desires affection and romance rather than the health benefits of sunlight. He humorously states that he cannot find this "vitamin love" with the sun shining above.

In the second paragraph, Fisher expresses that he doesn't care if the sun doesn't shine because he can still find love and happiness in the evening. He suggests that the evening time is more enjoyable for him because he can be with his partner, implying that their presence is what truly brings light to his life.

The third paragraph reinforces the idea that Fisher finds joy and satisfaction in the evening when he is with his partner. He emphasizes the pleasure they experience through kissing, suggesting that they engage in passionate and intimate moments together. Fisher dismisses the idea of keeping score of how many times they kiss, emphasizing that the quality and depth of their connection is more important than counting the physical acts.

The fourth and final paragraph reiterates Fisher's belief that the sun's presence or absence doesn't matter to him as long as he can be with his partner in the evening. He emphasizes the enjoyment he finds in their loving moments and establishes that this time with his beloved is what truly matters to him.

Overall, these lyrics express Eddie Fisher's carefree and romantic outlook on love and how the presence of his beloved is more important to him than the sunshine.

Kunming City, China? That is incredibly evil, cruel and irresponsible that they got the Asiatic Black Bear as a tiny pup, so it had zero training by it's mother how to survive in the wild, but the gov released it into the wild after they confirmed it was in good health, where it would surely not be able to survive. They could have at least sent it to a zoo anywhere in the world.

No real pictures from the story? None?

We really hate seeing all these AI generated photos unrelated to the actual story. Stop it. Put more effort in your videos.

Who else found themselves unsatisfied every time an image came up and it wasn’t the actual dog? 😅

i give those videos a dislike....

@minnahumble2294

I found it aggravating. The producers could at least have limited the images to black dogs. It’s goofy.

@@minnahumble2294 What do you expect? This whole video was of people completely unrelated to the story. Fake people telling a possible fake story.

I found the picture on a news website, that wanted me to press "next page" into an endless loop.. 😅

Now, by the help of Google I can now find the history.

@@crescentsheath1190 Was it the one with the picture of black dog that's been abused? That's what I saw. As soon as I saw click next, I googled the story, and it led me here.
