et que la nuit rencontre le jour
Je suis seule avec mes rêves sur la montagne
Une voix me rappelle toujours
L'écho que m'apporte la chanson du vent
me rappelle les souvenirs de toi
Quand le soleil dit bonjour aux montagnes
Je suis seule et ne veux penser qu'à toi
The song "Quand le soleil dit bonjour aux montagnes" by Emilie-Claire Barlow is about longing for someone who is no longer present. The lyrics depict a moment when the sun rises over the mountains and the night meets the day. This is a metaphor for the singer's state of mind, which is caught between two emotions, a sense of new beginnings and a feeling of loss. The singer is alone with her dreams and memories of someone who is no longer with her. She is haunted by the echo of a voice that reminds her of her past and the person she longs for. The wind, which carries the song's melody, brings back memories of the person she loves.
The lyrics are poetic and evocative. They create a sense of longing and melancholy. They convey a sense of nostalgia for a time when the singer was happy and in love. The use of the natural imagery of mountains, sun, and wind adds to the song's emotional impact. The song is about the pain of separation and the power of memory. It is a bittersweet reflection on love and loss.
