Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Fatboy Slim's "Right Here Right Now" seem to be simple and repetitive, but they are actually open to interpretation. The repeated phrase "right here, right now" could be seen as a call to live in the moment and seize the opportunities that are right in front of us. The line "waking up to find your love's not real" could be interpreted as the realization that something we believed in or trusted has let us down, leaving us feeling disillusioned and hurt.

The repeated line of "waking up to find your love's not real" could also be interpreted as a commentary on the emptiness of materialistic pursuits and the realization that those things will not bring true happiness. The repetition of the phrase also emphasizes the cyclical nature of life and how we often find ourselves facing the same disappointments and struggles.

The overall message of the song could be seen as a call to embrace the present moment and not get caught up in regrets and fears. "Right here, right now" reminds us that this is the only moment that truly matters and that we should make the most of it.

Music video about Evolution: Although life in earth is not 350 billion years : but 4.54 billion years

@peanutts1252

Very sorry to hear that. Only sending comment because its that time of year for me. I lost 2 sisters, then a nephew. My Father simply because of age...but then I saw how my 2 older brothers were so distraught. I tried to help but after 30 days in rehab.....my brother shot hisself only days after I left to look after my own house/cats, friend....sister.

I friggen called for a Well Check because he wouldn't respond. I was in the Mental Health industry & that's what I was taught.....also talked to him about it.

Nevertheless, 6 years later.......therapy, hours and hours of music......I can stuff it down as far as I can. Everybody says not my fault........but it is. It is.

Maybe he was prepared to do so. Evidence he was. He wanted to die clean of opioids & he was.

Catch 22. I sent police to his house "Well Check" & he was alive they say.

Next day he my other brother arrived......

Sorry for the share, but your share broke me open.

Back to video......Have loved this song/video for decades.

Note to self on 24th May 2023:

No way, this is the video I watched so many years ago as a kid when I moved to Dubai!

This used to play on MTV, and this was around the time when I was exposed to Eminem's music as well - I remember watching that iconic 'Without Me' music video.

The craziest thing is I'd always associated this tune with Jurassic Park - or it somehow related to evolution - but the connection was always subliminal (and in my head).

Of course I'd heard this tune several times over the years but I could never piece why it sounded so familiar, until I looked up the music video just now.

Ah, life is incredible! This tune is evergreen.
