They released their debut album Fenech-Soler on September 27th 2010 on B-Unique. It's an album that begins with a blast, its opener "Battlefields" launching with a heavenly chorus of voices, "Golden Sun" plays with rhythms that summon up the sultriness of desert heat; "The Great Unknown" takes a distant echo on French House in new, dizzying directions. And of course "Stop And Stare" play-listed at Radio 1 in May 2010, and reached Top 10 of the Dance and Indie singles chart.
"Lies" is their most famous song so far.

My life just skipped a beat back to the start, it's over
We are but a speck against the night sky
I got the feeling that I'm not alive
And I see you and I'm hypnotized
Nice to meet you, superficial is my name
Protect my innocence, I need someone to blame
I got the feeling that I'm not alone
So many voices in the great unknown
I got things I should say
I'm left alone, with these thoughts every day
I got things I should say
To you my girl, I know I shouldn't stray
I'm breaking up inside, she knows she's got control
A million ways to go, each one will crush my soul
We are floating on a sea of our desire
I got the feeling that I'm not alone
But then I find you in the great unknown
I got things I should say
I'm left alone, with these thoughts every day
I got things I should say
To you my girl, I know I shouldn't stray
I float away, down a river out of sight
The night sky
I float away, down a river out of sight
You and I
And if you think I'll let you down
If you wanna say it's not okay
If you wanna stand your ground
If you want to turn and run away
And if you think I'll let you down
If you wanna say it's not okay
If you wanna stand your ground
If you want to turn and run away
The lyrics to Fenech-Soler's song "The Great Unknown" are contemplative and introspective. The singer is initially overwhelmed with the weight of the world on their shoulders, feeling like they've been brought back to the beginning of their life as if it's all over. They identify as just a small speck in the vastness of the night sky, wondering if they're truly alive. But then they see someone who captivates them and they feel slightly less alone. The singer admits to having things they need to say to their partner, but they're struggling to find the words. They feel like they're breaking apart inside and that their partner has control over them, with every potential decision feeling like it will crush their soul. They recognize that they and their partner are both driven by their desires and that there are many other voices out there that they don't know. Despite all of this, the singer still finds solace in their partner and they ultimately hope that they won't let each other down.
The song explores a sense of existential dread and a search for connection in a world that can feel overwhelming. The singer seems to be wrestling with their own feelings of inadequacy and fears of failure. They struggle to communicate with their partner but ultimately find comfort in their bond. The song engenders feelings of vulnerability and tenderness, inviting the listener to empathize with the singer's struggles.
