Ferry Corsten Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Chasing dreams and falling down
Holding tears inside so no one knows
But when I look upon your face
See the future, feel your grace
Holding you, heaven feelsso close
And Oo, Oo, There wilt be another sunrise
Oo, Oo, There wilt be another sunrise, in our eyes
You woke me up and took my pain
And suddenly I felt like I was home
You pierced the blackened sky above
Your light poured in like morning sun
With every ray of daylight there is hope
And Oo. Oo, There will be another sunrise
Oo, Oo, There will be another sunrise, in our eyes
The song "Reception" by Ferry Corsten speaks about the struggles and hardships of chasing dreams while dealing with disappointment, pain, and keeping emotions hidden from others. The lyrics reveal that the singer has experienced this firsthand, but when they look at the person they love, they see a bright future, feel their grace, and heaven feels close. The singer expresses gratitude to their partner for waking them up, taking their pain, and making them feel like they are home. The light that the partner brings into their life is compared to the morning sun, shining hope into their life. The chorus repeats the message that despite the difficult times, the sun will rise again, which represents a new beginning and hope for a better future.

It's a story. If you listen to the first song on the album and go in order, (1, 2 , 3...) it comes together. Listen from the beginning and you will see. It's amazing!
(By the way, this is the first song!)

Ferry, you are a grand ambassador to the genre, and have
always been a favorite, and always will be. I have been listening to you,
before I knew it was you, in System F days in the late 90’s. We need your mind,
your dedication and love for the music, and appreciate everything you do. Bravo
my long lost brother. (Joe from Edmonton)
