As a newer Christian, I’ve listen to both Lordship Salvation and Free Grace doctrine, and I find they are both correct. I know it doesn’t make any sense, but there is a tension that exists between the two.

Traveling too far on either side of the arguments leads to hypocrisies both sides. One in regard to Holiness of deed, and the other abuse of grace.

I find it similar to the tension of free will and Gods sovereignty. Both are true, but it makes no sense.

I’m finding following Christ is living in that tension.

Blessings to all

"If a man is righteous and does what is lawful and right...follows my statutes, and is careful to observe my ordinances, acting faithfully—such a one is righteous; he shall surely live,” declares the Lord Yahweh." (Ezekiel 18:5-9)
“For I, Yahweh, do not change…From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says Yahweh of hosts.” (Malachi 3:6-7)
“For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints [those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12)], as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness in realizing the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:9-12)
“For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself, saying, "Surely I will bless you and multiply you." And thus Abraham, having patiently endured, obtained the promise.” (Hebrews 6:13-15)
“And every unclean thing and one who practices detestable things and falsehood will never enter into it.” (Revelation 21:27) “It is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as descendants” (Romans 9:8)
“Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.” (Genesis 26:5) “That is why his faith was “counted to him as righteousness.” But the words, “it was counted to him,” were written not for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him that raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was put to death for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” (Romans 4:22-25)
“Now if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised; if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:12-14)
Many “have deviated concerning the truth by saying the resurrection has already taken place, and they are upsetting the faith of some.” (2 Timothy 2:18) “We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified of God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.” (1 Corinthians 15:15-17)
“Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Come to your right mind, and sin no more. For some have no knowledge of God.” (1 Corinthians 15:33-34) “A man of violence entices his neighbor and leads him in a way that is not good.” (Proverbs 16:29)
“Depart from evil, and do good; so shall you abide for ever. For Yahweh loves justice; he will not forsake his saints [those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus (Revelation 14:12)]. The righteous shall be preserved for ever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall possess the land, and dwell upon it for ever.” (Psalm 37:27-29)
“Wait for Yahweh and keep his way, and he will exalt you to possess the land. When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.” (Psalm 37:34) “Observe the blameless and look at the upright, for there is a future for a man of peace. But transgressors shall be destroyed altogether.
The future of the wicked shall be cut off. And the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh, their refuge in the time of trouble. And Yahweh helps them and he rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.” (Psalm 37:37-40)
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) “He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him.” (John 14:21)
“I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years… This is the first resurrection.” (Revelation 20:4-5)
“I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26) “When you have lifted up the Son of man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority but speak thus as the Father taught me.” (John 8:28)

@AdamJoseph1352

That passage in 2 Corinthians Paul is commending them for turning from the things he rebuked them for in the first letter.

2 things we can gather from this fact.

1. The people in Corinth were already saved in the first letter.

2. Godly sorrow worked the repentance, that does not mean the repentance was Godly sorrow.

Nobody is following a man here, just using logic and the context of scripture to come to our conclusions, using good hermeneutics...

@2Chronicles714_

We must read carefully what Paul said in
1 Corinthians 15:2

By this gospel you are saved, [IF] you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise you have believed in vain.
If we believe the gospel that Paul preached We will come to Christ in repentance.
Acts 17:30
In the past God overlooked such ignorance but now commandeth all people every where to repent.
Acts 20:21
I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
Jesus and Paul
Acts 26:18-20
To open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’
19 So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.
First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.
Show evidence of your repentance
by your conduct.
We must also be immators of Christ as Paul was (1 Corinthians 11:1). Romans 8:6-7,13 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law,
nor can it do so.13For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

Paul also warns about the deception of the devil to not repent of your sins in
2 Timothy 2:25-26
25Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.

Without repentance and a lifestyle change you will not be saved.

@2Chronicles714_

@yardape5125
If they adhered to these, it would change their thinking.

Galatians 5:24
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

2 Corinthians 5:15,17
And he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

These are the people Jesus is coming for.
1 Corinthians 15:23
But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward, they that are Christ's at his coming.

@2Chronicles714_

@16didit
Once you by the Spirit of God come to God in repentance :
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

A change of mind will result in a change of conduct.

Galatians 5:24
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Pharisees were meticulous law keepers going about to establish their own righteousness...

So since salvation is by grace through faith and not of works of righteousness the Pharisees were blinded... Why??? Because God gets the glory...

So we can see he did not call the righteous(Pharisees), but sinners to repentance...

So calling sinners to repentance, you think Jesus is telling them to turn from sin???

Why???

When God repents in the Bible do you think he is repenting of sin???

Of course he called sinners to repentance, we receive remissions of sin by FAITH...

Acts 10:43
To him give all the prophets witness, that whosoever believeth in him shall receive remissions of sins...

It really very simple friend, even John that Baptist preaches the baptism of repentance..

What was his message???

That we would BELIEVE on the one who would come after him...

Jesus spoke plainly, unfortunately language evolves so for whatever reason we just forgot what Repent meant, bet Satan had something to do with it though...

Tit 1:15-16 KJV 15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Someone's proffesion does not mean they are born again when there lives lack good works and evidence of the new birth.

1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

Act 15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

Mat 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Act 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Jon 3:10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Yes correct. Turning from sin is not going to save a person. Once we are saved. We are commanded to turn from sin. Everyperson who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from evil. Whoever believes in his name will be saved.That's believing everything about him and what he said and commands.
Most Christians have never been born again and delivered from their sins. It is very evident in the church.Most are still slaves to sin and not slaves to righteousness.

Jesus died to set the captives free. When I met Jesus he placed his spirit in me. I repented and forsaked my sins. The first thing he told me was to get baptized and forgive my wife.
I haven't drank used tobacco looked at porn used drugs since that night. It took me awhile to get a handle on my mouth but I don't know the last time I cussed.
It is all by Gods power I was able to stop those.
I was saved Feb 21 of 21. While I was crying out to Jesus. Telling him I would stop the crap I was doing looking at porn drinking lying and other things I was being convicted of. Jesus took my spirit out of my body and threw me into my chest where my heart is.he showed me how I was justifying my sins. When I seen how wicked I was I seen why Jesus had to die for me. I asked for forgiveness. At that moment Jesus entered my room and wrapped his arms around me. The love and peace you feel being in the presence of God is undescribable. All my worries vanished. I knew Jesus was with me
And he knows everything. He pulled of the demons I had let into my life through sin.

If we do not abide in Christ we are like a branch who is cut off withers and is thrown into the fire. Hebrews says if we have tasted in goodness of God and to turn back to our sins we are crucifying Jesus all over again. If we harden our hearts to him and go back into captivity there is no sacrifice for sin.

We are going back into captivity of sin. We are either a slave to sin or a slave to righteousness.
A dog returns to his vomit and a pig who is washed returns to the mud,sin.
If we don't follow Jesus we will fall back into sin and back to the control of the devil. Cause the devil has been sinning since the beginning. Whoever sins is a slave to sin.
1john says anyone born of God does not practice sin.they can't go on living in sin because Jesus is in them.
This is how we know who is from God and who is from the devil.
By their fruits you will know them. This speaking of the false believers. The ones not truly born again and following Jesus.
They are the wheat and tares
Foolish virgins
Goats and the sheep
The foolish man who built his house on the sand
The bad fish and good fish.
The servant who's master was gone for a while and went back to his sin.
Jesus says The parable of the shower unlocks the other parables. You have to know it to know the rest.
The thorny and rocky hearers are the false believers. They are chocked out and wither cause they never truly trusted.they still were in love with the world. Whoever loves the world is an enemy of God.
The true believers produce a crop. They plant the seeds to bring more into the kingdom.30 60 90 fold.
Many confess Jesus by their lips but by there actions deny him.

Anyone hearing this who is lukewarm.you can choose today who you will serve.
God or sin.
Go to Jesus.
If you seek me with all your heart you will find me.

REPENT FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND
_____
Luke 5:32
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Matthew 7:15-21
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that >doeth the will of my Father< which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonerful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, >ye that work iniquity.<

Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

1 Timothy 4:1-3
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Matthew 3 8-13 (John the Baptist speaking)
Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Matthew 5:17-20
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Then in the verses following, Jesus continues and gives deeper revelation of sin.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Matthew 19:23-30
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore?

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Read the verses before this where the rich young ruler asked what he must do to receive eternal life and Jesus told him to keep the commandments, the young ruler said he kept them since youth. Jesus then asked the rich young ruler to give away his possessions to the poor and follow Him but he refused saddened for he had great possessions.

Luke 13:23-30
Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye >workers of iniquity.<

There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

Rev 21:6-8
And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

John 3:19-21
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Rev 22:11-15
He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Blessed are they that >do< his commandments, that *they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Rev 3
And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Romans 2
For there is no respect of persons with God.
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

There are two Ways,
one of Life and one of Death,
and there is a great difference between the two Ways.

2. The way of life is this:
First, you shall love God who made you, secondly, love your neighbor as yourself; and whatsoever you would not have done to yourself, do not do to another.

3. Now, the teaching of these words is this:
Bless those who curse you, pray for your enemies, and fast on the behalf of those who persecute you. For what credit is it to you if you love those that love you? Do not even the heathen do the same? But love those that hate you, and you will have no enemy.

4. Abstain from carnal and bodily lusts. If any man smites you on the right cheek, turn to him the other cheek also, and you will be perfect. If any man compels you to go with him one mile, go with him two. If any man takes your coat, give him thy cloak also. If someone takes from you what is yours, ask it not back, for neither are you able.

5. Give to everyone that asks you, and ask not back, for the Father's will is that we give to all from the gifts we have received.

Blessed is he that gives according to the commandment; for he is free from guilt; but woe unto him who receives without need, he shall be tried as to why he received and for what purpose, and being in prison he shall be examined as to his deeds, and he shall not come out until he pays the last farthing.

6. But concerning this it was also said, let thy alms (charity) sweat into your hands until you know to whom you are to give.

The Way of Death

1. But the Way of Death is this: First of all, it is wicked and full of cursing, murders, adulteries, lusts, fornications, thefts, idolatries, witchcrafts, charms, robberies, false witness, hypocrisies, a double heart, fraud, pride, malice, stubbornness, covetousness, foul speech, jealousy, impudence, haughtiness, boastfulness.

2. Persecutors of the good, haters of truth, lovers of lies, knowing not the reward of righteousness, not cleaving to the good nor to righteous judgment, spending wakeful nights not for good but for wickedness, from whom meekness and patience is far, lovers of vanity, following after reward, unmerciful to the poor, not working for him who is oppressed with toil, without knowledge of him who made them, murderers of children, corrupters of God's creatures, turning away the needy, oppressing the distressed, advocates of the rich, unjust judges of the poor,
altogether sinful;
may ye be delivered, my children, from all these.

Sins Forbidden

1. But the second commandment of the teaching is this:

2. Thou shalt do no murder;
Thou shalt not commit adultery;
Thou shalt not commit sodomy;
Thou shalt not corrupt youth;
Thou shall not be sexually perverse
Thou shalt not commit fornication; (or be sexually promiscuous)
Thou shalt not steal;
Thou shalt not practice magic;
Thou shalt not practice witchcraft;
Thou shalt not kill a child by abortion, neither shalt thou slay it when born;
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods;

3. Thou shalt not commit perjury,
Thou shall not bear false witness";
Thou shalt not speak evil;
Thou shalt not bear malice.

4. Thou shalt not be double-minded nor double-tongued, for to be double-tongued is the snare of death.

5. Thy speech shall not be false nor vain, but completed in action.

6. Thou shalt not be covetous nor rapacious, nor a hypocrite, nor malignant, nor proud, thou shalt make no evil plan against thy neighbor.

7. Thou shalt hate no man; but some you shall reprove, and for some shall you pray for, and some you shall love more than your own life.

III Other Sins Forbidden

1. My child, flee from everything that is evil, and from all likeness of it.

2. Be not angry, for anger leads to murder, nor jealous, nor contentious, nor of hot temper, for from all these murders are engendered.

3. My child, be not lustful, for lust leads to fornication, nor a filthy talker, nor have wandering eyes, for from all these things come adulteries.

4. My child, be not an observer of omens, for this leads to idolatry; neither be an enchanter, nor an astrologer, nor a magician, neither wish to see these things, for all these things come idolatry.

5. My child, be not a liar, for lying leads to theft, nor a lover of money, nor vain-glorious, for from all these things are thefts engendered.

6. My child, be not a murmurer, for this leads to blasphemy, nor stubborn, nor evil-minded, for from all these are blasphemies engendered.

7. But be meek, for the meek shall inherit the earth;

8. Be thou long-suffering, and merciful and guileless, and quiet, and good, and always trembling at the words which you have recieved.

9. Thou shalt not exalt thyself, nor give arrogance to thy soul. Thy soul shall not join with lofty (pompous) souls, but walk with the righteous and the humble (lowly).

10. Whatever happens to you, accept it as good, knowing that nothing happens without God.

XI Concerning Teachers, Apostles and Prophets

1. Whosoever then comes and teaches you all these things aforesaid, receive him.

2. But if the teacher himself be perverted and teaches another doctrine to destroy these things, do not listen to him, but if his teaching be for the increase of righteousness and knowledge of the Lord, receive him as the Lord.

3. And concerning the Apostles and Prophets, act thus according to the teaching of the Gospel.

4. Let every Apostle who comes to you be received as the Lord,

5. But let him not stay more than one day, or if need be a second as well; but if he stay three days, he is a false prophet.

6. And when an Apostle goes forth let him accept nothing but bread till he reach his night's lodging; but if he ask for money, he is a false prophet.

7. And ye shall not test nor judge any prophet who is speaking by the Holy Spirit, for every sin shall be forgiven, but this sin shall not be forgiven."
(Matthew 12:31)

8. And not everyone who speaks in the Spirit is a prophet, but only he who follows the ways of the Lord.
From their behaviour, then, you will know the false prophet and the true prophet.

9. And no prophet who orders a meal in the Spirit shall eat of it: otherwise he is a false prophet.

10. And every prophet who teaches truth, if he does not what he teaches, is a false prophet.

11. And every prophet who is proved to be genuine, and doeth things for a worldly mystery of the Church, if he teaches not others to do what he does himself,
shall not be judged by you: for he has his judgment with God, for so also did the prophets of old.

12. But whosoever shall say in the spirit Give me money, or something else," you shall not listen to him;
but if he tells you to give on behalf of others in need, let none judge him.

Galatians 5
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past,
that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Jude 1:11-24
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;

raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, >to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.<
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; >hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.<
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you >faultless< before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Revelation 2:14-17
And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; (<<Jesus)

I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Matthew 25:24-46
Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

@WDYD

Jesus Christ (Yehusha) was not the first person raised from the dead. Read again the incident of the woman's son and Elijah.
1 Kings 17:17-24
King James Version

17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?

19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.

20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?

21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.

22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.

24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in thy mouth is truth.

Read the verses afterwards also:

John 14:15-17 NKJV
"If you love Me, keep My commandments. [16] And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Jesus is speaking to the saved Disciples.

Our salvation isn’t based on whether we love him, but rather because HE LOVES US!

@pfister2020

If a person believes in Christ. They are believing everything about Jesus. To all those who believed in his name ,God gave the right to be called children of God.
Jesus tells us who has believed. Biblical repentance will lead to good works out of gratitude.
God grants a person repentance.its nothing we can do. When God opens are eyes we see how personally evil we really are, God lays are heart bare we then see what Jesus had to die for.
We go from categorizing sin and justify it to hating sin cause that's what hung are Lord on the Cross. Jesus says deny ourselves pick up are cross and follow him. If you are not follow Jesus you are lost.
Jesus says in John who really love him. And have come to know him. If this isn't you the Bible says to examine ourselves to see if you are in the faith. If you aren't longing to be more like Jesus and show Jesus to others there might be something wrong. Here's what Jesus says in John about what true believers are like.

Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves. 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

22 Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”

23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. 24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

@pfister2020

When you meet Jesus,and he shows mercy.
Jesus is the baptizer of the holy Spirit.
When you experience grace you are in the presence of God and you know you are forgiven of your sins.He allowed me to see him when I was saved .I saw the scars in n hands he was so bright.he wrapped his arms around me. I felt waitless. He pulled the demons and sin off me that I had allowed into my life. The first thing he told me was to get baptized. When you receive grace and are saved you begin to hate sin. You don't justify or categorize sin anymore. You run from it. That is the work of the holy Spirit. I was saved Feb 21 of 21. I haven't drank used tobacco or drugs or looked at porn since that night.

When we are saved and set free from sin we have power over it. We have self control, which is a fruit of the spirit.
That's why Jesus died was to set the captives free. Since birth we are captive to sin and death. The Truth (Jesus) will set you Free.
Sin is no longer your master.

We have a choice after we know the Truth. We can walk in the Spirit or choose to go back into captivity if Don't abide in Jesus we will surely go back into our sins.
Every branch that does not abide in me is cut off and withers and is thrown into the fire.

If a Christian living in sin isn't chastised by God back to repentance than he is not a true child.
