In summer 1993, Oriol Farré, Juanjo Muñoz, Natxo Tarrés and Roger Farré from Manresa, joined together to start a new band. They won an award with their first record "Gossos" (1994). After a few tours in Catalonia they edited their 2nd record "En privat" in 1996. Followed by "Mandala" (1997) and "Directament" (1998, recorded in the "Teatre Conservatori" of Manresa) with the collaboration of other consolidated members of the Catalan Rock like Cris Juanico, Gerard Quintana and Pemi Fortuny. In 2000 they recorded "De viaje", their only album in Castillian so far, followed by "Cares" (2001).
In 2002 they move away from their acoustical style to start using electric guitars and drums. Their latest albums recorded are "El Jardí del Temps" (2003), "8" (2005) and Oxygen (2007).

Vine amb mi
Gossos Lyrics

jo no puc saber si ets fora o estàs a dins
Vine amb mi,
t'estaré esperant despert tota la nit
Vine amb mi,
jo no puc saber si ets fora o estàs a dins
Vint-i-dos de novembre
Ja he fet un llarg camí
Miro enrera sobre els meus passos
Semàfor verd jo corro i marxo
Tu no vas venir
Vine amb mi,
t'estaré esperant despert tota la nit
Vine amb mi,
jo no puc saber si ets fora o estàs a dins
Vine amb mi,
t'estaré esperant despert tota la nit
Vine amb mi,
jo no puc saber si ets fora o estàs a dins
The song "Vine amb mi" by Gossos tells a story of a person who has been waiting for a chance to leave their current situation, and finally, the night has come to escape. The first stanza expresses the excitement of being able to fulfill their dreams and ambitions that seemed out of reach before. The person is accompanied by their guitar and the gaze of their loved one, and together, they will pave a new path. The chorus "Vine amb mi" (come with me) is an invitation to their partner to join them on this journey, to stay awake with them all night and embark on a new adventure together.
The second stanza reveals a hint of disappointment and regret. On November 22, something has changed in the dynamics between the two partners, and the person is left to go on this journey alone. The green light at the traffic light represents a turning point in the person's life, but the absence of their partner makes the journey bittersweet. The chorus repeats the invitation to join them, but this time with a hint of uncertainty, as the person is unsure whether their partner is inside or outside.
Overall, the song explores the themes of longing, uncertainty, and the hope for a better future. It reminds us that sometimes we have to take a leap of faith and trust that our dreams will come true.
