Out Of Nowhere
Harry Lyrics

You took my heart and found it free
Wonderful dreams, wonderful schemes from nowhere
Made every hour sweet as a flower for me
If you should go back to your nowhere
Leaving me with a memory
I'll always wait for your return out of nowhere
The lyrics of Harry 'Sweets' Edison's song Out of Nowhere convey a story of unexpected love. The opening line "You came to me from out of nowhere" suggests that the love interest was unexpected, unsought, or simply unexpected. Yet, despite the surprise, the singer gladly embraces the emotion, having been "freed" by the love so discovered. The love is described as a sweet flower that has bloomed, and which has made every hour spent together pleasurable.
However, the singer is all too aware that the affections may be temporary, and that the union was tenuous. Should the love interest disappear as quickly as they appeared, the singer would be left with a memory of what "could have been." Hope is held that the supposed ephemeral nature of their love will prove false, and that the love interest will return bringing their love with them.
In conclusion, the lyrics to Out of Nowhere depict a relationship that arose suddenly, unexpectedly, and filled the singer's life with joy. The song highlights the fleeting nature of some love affairs while also expressing the hope that the love interest will return, bringing back the pleasurable emotions and experiences associated with their time together.
