2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Incognito Lyrics

We glide into this jam
You’re stirin’ up a revolution in my mind
The closer I get to you baby
You open up the windows of my soul
You do something to me that I never thought possible
All seem to disappear when you are near, they’re gone
(Gone are the seeds of doubt)
They’re no longer here when you appear
(Fences and barriers), no more, no more, no more
(Fences and barriers), gone, gone, gone
(Fences and barriers), they’re all gone baby
Your caresses speak, they tell a tale
Of a journey to love
Boy you’re blowin’ my mind like a hurricane
You’re the turnin’ tide and this love cannot hide
(Fences and barriers)
All seem to disappear when you are near
(Gone are the seeds of doubt)
They’re no longer here when you appear, they’re long gone baby
(Fences and barriers), no more, no more, no more
(Fences and barriers), they’re gone, gone, gone
(Fences and barriers), no more, no more, no more
There is nothing in this world that gets to me like you do
The way you do the things you do
No nothing in this universe that compares to you
(Fences and barriers), no more, no more, no more
(Fences and barriers), ooh
(Fences and barriers), no more baby
No more, no more
The lyrics to Incognito's song Fences and Barriers speak about the transformative power of love. The song starts by describing how the singer and their love interest are not like others who wait patiently at a jam, but rather they glide into it with ease. The chorus then describes how all fences and barriers disappear when the love interest is around. The seeds of doubt planted from previous experiences are no longer present.
The second verse goes on to describe how the caresses of the love interest speak volumes about their journey to love. The singer feels that this person has blown their mind like a hurricane and is the turning tide in their life. The chorus then repeats, confirming that all fences and barriers are gone when this love interest is present.
The bridge emphasizes how there is nothing in the world or universe that compares to this person's effect on the singer. The final chorus repeats that all fences and barriers are gone for good, thanks to this love interest.
Overall, the lyrics of Fences and Barriers are about the transformational power of love. The love interest in this song appears to be the catalyst for change in the singer's life, and all negative thoughts and experiences they may have had before are eliminated in their presence.
