2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Incognito Lyrics

If you think that I am the kind
To sit around and wait
Say you’ve got me all wrong
If you think that I am gonna be here
Should your plans not escalate
Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones
Was it all for nothing
Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones, Mr. Jones
I can’t give you any more
Was it all for nothing
Well I know she’s got you hypnotised
Cos you’re sitting right here next to me
But your heart is not around
I wished that I had you all wrong
But I know that it’s time to step aside
Hitch another ride
I still got my pride
You must be losing your mind
If you think that I am the kind
To sit around and wait
The lyrics to Incognito's song "Mr Jones" depict a woman calling out a man named Mr Jones for taking her for granted and assuming she will always be there for him. The woman expresses that she is not going to wait around for Mr Jones if his plans do not include her, and that she cannot give him any more. She reflects on how much she has given Mr Jones and wonders if it was all for nothing. The woman also acknowledges that Mr Jones is currently with her but his heart is not really present. Ultimately, she realizes that it is time to move on and that she still has her pride.
The song "Mr Jones" is a commentary on the dynamics of relationships and the expectations that people have of their partners. It highlights how important it is for individuals to have their own sense of agency and not simply wait around for someone else to determine their value. This theme is reinforced by the woman's assertion that she has her own pride and will not allow Mr Jones to take advantage of her. Additionally, the song underscores the importance of being true to one's feelings and not getting caught up in superficial attractions.
