I'm not ashamed to admit this, I got a little emotional after coming back to New Vegas after a while.
I just got Veronica to the followers outpost so she could join them, but I had to wait through the night. I stepped out, took out a pair of binoculars and looked around the area, not too far away was the 188.
I walked there, bought some food and water and picked out a spot to sleep, but before I did I investigated the area, since I hadn't really before.
There's characters there with more life in them than any of Fallout 3's cast, not even mentioning how much sense the area makes, and why it was settled, and why the people that you find there have a reason to be there. It's such a small location but it's a great microcosm of the rest of the game.
There's a character there that doesn't even have a name, it's the trader with the truck on the top of the road, but they have sensible opinions on the state of the Mojave, informed by their backstory and personality, and an interesting past that explains their place in the game perfectly.
I got sad thinking that I'll probably never find another game with this much attention to detail, but then I realized the only reason I have these high standards is because I found a game that met them.
Thank you, basically, for breathing some new life into this game. I hope everything goes well.

A beautiful piece. More intense than the original track, but gorgeously ambient. Great work.

While I prefer the more heavy western vibe for New Vegas, I do like the subtle blends of Fallout 4's more subtle piano score mixed into this, resulting in a far softer and more inviting track. Perfect for everyone's favorite wasteland head physician.

@Rucar eastern fallout just isn’t as cool, WHERES THE SAND!!!!

@Tacticability Yeah. I am not a big fan of remixes. Inon Zur also worked on fallout tactics and I liked it very much. I hope there will be a way to replace ost and dialogues when mod comes out

@Kraio I would pay $100 for this remaster which is why im gonna donate cause the creators of this remaster put a lot of time and effort into it and ik how stressful the mod creation kit can get.

@Prepare Your Brainus There wouldn't be any mods without the "idiots" who created the game in the first place.
