I Have a Dream

I have a dream
I have a dream
The song "I have a dream" by Kalafina is a beautiful combination of soulful music and lyrics that are deep and introspective. The song is about searching for something that cannot be seen, in this case, the color of someone's eyes. The singer reminisces about a summer morning, sitting on a park bench, and wondering what color the eyes of the person next to them might be. This is where the central theme of the song becomes apparent, as the singer expresses a desire to know the person better, to see the world as they see it. The singer has a dream of finding this shared vision, even though it is small and seems unattainable.
The second verse of the song speaks of the struggles of daily life, of waking up early and walking through crowded city streets. The repetition of the phrase "I have a dream" becomes almost meditative, as the singer clings to this belief that there is something more to life than the soulless routine of everyday existence. The song then talks about the importance of holding onto small dreams, as these are the things that keep us going, that remind us there is still something valuable and meaningful in the world.
In the final verse, the song becomes more introspective, as the singer reflects on the passage of time and the inevitability of change. People come and go, things fade away, but the dream remains. The world keeps spinning, and dreams continue to be woven. The song leaves us with a sense of hope, that no matter what happens, as long as we hold onto our dreams, we can face whatever the future brings.
