" Biography
Avant-Garde, mystical, and magical are just some of the ways her fans describe KERLI’s music. As Estonia’s most successful music export, this unique artist has defied genre and created a musical world all her own; an eclectic style, drawing on a wide range of influences such as electronic, pop, goth, and experimental.
Her debut album, "Love Is Dead", in 2008 which charted on the Billboard 200. The lead single, "Walking on Air," was featured as the iTunes single of the week where it was downloaded over 500,000 times, a record at that time.
Her 2nd album Utopia also charted on Billboard 200. Singles "Army of Love", Zero Gravity", and "The Lucky Ones" entered the top 10 Billboard Hot Dance, two of them peaking at number 1. A song co-written by KERLI for Utopia, "Skyscraper" was recorded by Demi Lovato and become one of Demi’s biggest hits.
In 2016, she released 3 independent singles, while teaming up with the government of Estonia to art direct a tourism campaign designed to promote the otherworldly nature of her country.
Spending most of her creative time in the deep forests of Estonia, KERLI’s evolution as an artist has paralleled her curiosity as a human, exploring the relationship between nature, mysticism, and technology. All of which will be part of her most diverse and eclectic body of work on an upcoming album, titled ‘Shadow Works’, set to release in Feb 2019 on MrSuicideSheep's imprint Seeking Blue"
Many new worlds and characters will be revealed in 2023, starting with a dangerously cute realm of a pink robot named Joy, here to make a big colorful splash on the apocalypse-stricken planet Earth.

Was colors oh so beautiful
From blue to green for rainy days
And pinks and reds for being okay
They made you you
So incomplete, so naked, small, but oh so sweet
See where it's going
That you will not be here
It's all become so clear
And I'll keep walking
I'll keep on wondering
If what we had was real
And if I will ever heal
Heal
Heal
Heal
Heal
Heal
Heal
Heal
I looked at you and all I saw
was colors oh so beautiful
From blue to green for rainy days
And pinks and reds for being okay
It made you you
So incomplete, so naked, small, but oh so sweet
But oh so sweet
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
(Heal)
Oh
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
{Heal, heal, heal)
It made you you
It made you you
It made you you
The song "Heal" by Kerli is about looking back on a past relationship and realizing that it was beautiful but ultimately not meant to last. The singer looks at their former partner and sees them as a collection of colors - blues and greens for the hard times, pinks and reds for the good times. These colors made the partner who they were, incomplete and imperfect but still sweet. However, the singer knows that the relationship is over and they must keep walking and wondering if the love they shared was real. The repeated use of the word "heal" at the end of the song suggests that the singer is trying to move on and heal from the hurt of the past.
The lyrics of "Heal" are simple but poignant, and they are enhanced by the dreamy, atmospheric music that Kerli is known for. The use of colors to describe emotions gives the song a vivid and sensory quality, helping listeners to imagine the love that the singer once felt. The repetition of the phrase "It made you you" emphasizes the uniqueness of the former partner, even in their imperfections, and suggests that the singer still cares for them despite the pain of the breakup.

Yeah it's about drugs. She is against drugs. It's about realizing that drugs are bad after having having used them. She used to smoke pot years ago because she was going through a lot of crap, but she says now that it's not the answer to any problem. I wish more celebrities were like her. She got upset because people were talking about her for it and she wanting the "clear some things up". She admitted it and said regretting it and does not condone drugs or promote them.
