Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
And she's not a nuisance
And she's not a nuisance
And she's not a nuisance
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She's not a nuisance
Oh she's not a nuisance
Oh she don't think I'm stupid
Get myself a new friend
There she is a shoe in
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
And she's not a nuisance
Oh she is a shoe in
Get myself a new friend
And she's not a nuisance
Touching me
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
And she's not a nuisance
And she's not a nuisance
She doesn't [?]
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She doesn't think I'm stupid
She doesn't think I'm a weirdo
She doesn't think I'm a weirdo
She doesn't think I'm a weirdo
All she wants to do is blow me
Suck on my cock and blow me
Suck on my cock and chock me
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Get myself a new friend
Ya she is shoe in
No she's not a nuisance
Get myself a new friend
The lyrics in Kid Cudi’s “The Return of Chip Douglas” describe his desire to find a new friend who he can connect with on a deeper level. The repetition of the phrase “get myself a new friend” suggests a longing for companionship and a fresh start. He wants someone who doesn’t think he’s stupid or a weirdo, and who won’t be a nuisance in his life.
However, as the song progresses, the lyrics take a turn towards more explicit and sexual themes. The line “all she wants to do is blow me, suck on my cock and choke me” seems to come out of left field, indicating that perhaps Kid Cudi’s search for a new friend involves finding a sexual partner as well. The juxtaposition of his desire for emotional connection with the song’s sexual undertones creates a complex and multi-layered message about the human desire for intimacy and connection in all its forms.
Overall, “The Return of Chip Douglas” presents a unique and introspective portrayal of Kid Cudi’s innermost desires and yearnings for companionship and physical intimacy.
