Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Kina's Quando... delve into the human condition and the inherent animalistic and intellectual duality that exists within every person. The first few lines speak of the belief that there is a wolf inside of us, ready to kill but dormant. Through experiences of travel and living, the killer inside has been awakened and they have learned. The song then talks about the man inside of us, ready to think, but always asleep. This idea is juxtaposed against the animal that runs and kills without thought. The madness cannot be stopped by a shaman, and the gates of hell have been opened, allowing the flames to consume their victims. The passivity and stupidity of humanity have come at a cost and they are left with their strength and anger. The song concludes with a call to arms, to kill oneself in the hope of a better life afterwards.
