In 1991 a court prohibited to the band the use of the full name due to a dispute with a former sound technician expelled from the band, but ignoring the sentence they published "Bajo presión" (Under pressure), their last album as LPR. Finally, in 1996 the band changes their name, making 'La Polla' alone. In September 2002 dies Fernandito (drumer), and they pubish their last album 'El ultimo (el) de La Polla' in 2003, having published 1 EP and 16 LPs. Evaristo (composer, singer and writer) continues raising his voice against nearly everything, with irony and good punk rock, with his new band Gatillazo.
Nuestra Alegre Juventud

ni disfrutamos trabajando!
¡No, no, no, no!
¿Qué podemos hacer con tanto dinero?
¿qué podemos hacer con las ventajas sociales?
nuestra alegre juventud
¿qué más se puede pedir?
¡nuestra alegre juventud!
Los maderos cuidan de nuestra seguridad
¡tururu!
estando con ellos nada nos puede pasar
Vamos dejando pasar
nuestra alegre juventud
¿qué más se puede pedir?
¡nuestra alegre juventud!
Es increíble cómo resulta el sistema
¡tururu!
os felicito y os doy mi enhorabuena, ¡agh!
Vamos dejando pasar
nuestra alegre juventud
¿qué más se puede pedir?
¡si más ya no nos pueden dar por culo!
The lyrics to La Polla Records' song "Nuestra Alegre Juventud" reflect a feeling of apathy towards both work and unemployment, and a sense of complacency with the status quo. The first two lines declare that the singer doesn't enjoy being unemployed nor working, emphasizing a sense of disillusionment towards both options. The next lines ask a rhetorical question about what can be done with all the money and social advantages they may have, suggesting that even with these material benefits, they still feel unfulfilled. The chorus, which repeats twice, begins with the line "vamos dejando pasar" (we keep letting time go by), and continues to celebrate their "joyful youth" while simultaneously expressing resignation towards their current situation. In the third verse, the singer ironically congratulates the system for how well it works, further emphasizing this sense of disillusionment and resignation.
The song highlights themes such as disillusionment, apathy and complacency, and speaks to the disengagement that some may feel towards societal norms and expectations. It also comments on the ways that social privileges may not necessarily lead to fulfillment, and how systems can create a sense of hopelessness and resignation in individuals.
