Los Lonely Boys Lyrics

Ondas mi onda en mi vida
The lyrics to Los Lonely Boys' song Onda can be interpreted in a few different ways, but one possible interpretation is that "onda" means "vibe" or "wave" in Spanish. So when the song says "ondas mi alma y mi vida" (waves in my soul and my life) and "ondas mi onda en mi vida" (waves my vibe in my life), it could be describing the ups and downs, or the highs and lows, of life. Sometimes life feels calm like a calm wave, and sometimes it feels tumultuous like a rough wave. The song could be encouraging the listener to ride those waves and embrace the changing vibes of life.
Another interpretation could be that "onda" is referring to a particular vibe or style of music or culture, possibly Chicano or Tejano culture. In this interpretation, the song is celebrating the influence of this cultural vibe on the lives and souls of the band and their listeners.
Regardless of the exact meaning, the lyrics have a poetic quality that invites interpretation and reflection. The use of the word "onda" adds a unique cultural flavor to the song that reflects the band's heritage and influences.

Why are non talented people being made ridiculously famous and these guys are not.. what is wrong with the music industry that these boys are simmering on the back burner in the world of sound.. I grew up with this kind of music and here it is.. this is talent.. this is gifted by God and you just can't teach that.. this is beautiful.. this is music

At least to me, saying it's "gifted by god" takes away from all the work these guys put in to get this good at what they do. God gives you the opportunity to become this talented, the rest is up to how many hours you're willing to spend getting there, and these guys clearly spent a lot of those on this.

I'm convinced that there's been a generation (maybe two) of people who simply do not know what music is. "America's Got Talent"? Pleeeeez!

Tom Spallone... Those people exist in all generations. When I was young, and listening to Zappa, Zeppelin, Janis, Cream, Otis Redding,The Allman Brothers(they were SO fucking good, when Duane was akive), The Temptaions, (early)Chicago, and Pink Floyd... the radio stations were overrun, by The Monkees, The Archies, The Osmonds, Helen Reddy, and The Captain and Tenille. Great music has always existed... and still does. The music INDUSTRY however, has always done their best, to spoon feed garbage to the masses. More often than not... the musically retarded get all the attention, because they are easiest to please.
