As the star of said show, she’s typically responsible for the writing, performing, recording, producing, engineering and editing of her music, although she’s recently brought in a couple of mainstream indie pop co‐producers, Brad and Thom of the respective bands Now Now and The Naked and Famous, to help shoulder the load.

I will admit I discovered you thru my love of The Naked and Famous and finally saw/heard this today.
It truly is an awesome video filled with emotion thru dance! And the melody is insanely catchy!

Waves' is a song about holding on tightly and letting go lightly. I am very quick to fall in love & fall to pieces. Built into this song sonically & lyrically are competing rushes of melancholy and euphoria, overtaking one another for fleeting moments. The disco ball, a universal symbol of party, is essentially my love in this video. We go all around LA together, watch the ducks at Echo Park Lake, strut around the Silver Lake Reservoir, check out the wigs on Hollywood Blvd at night, and maybe break up on the beach. Sometimes I dance with it, sometimes I carry it around like a burden or hide behind it like an emotional crutch. Even something beautiful can be heavy - and you won't know until you're the one holding it.
Nothing gold (or silver, in this case) can stay, so might as well dance in public.
