Oh wow I did not see that final coming! When Shirley said the guy she'd be working for is known for being an ass I was sure to see the Wall Street dude from the previous episode but Jean-Paul! the man she went to Paris for whose marriage proposal she declined, ouch. Plus Patrick is so gonna flip when he'll know she is working for him, I can't believe it's coming in November :') man I wanna see how this all plays, I swear this game is as addictive as a TV show XD

At this point I wonder if season 8 will be the last one 🤔☹
It's gonna be interesting because Emily and Patrick are not a very solid couple... This final episode of season 7 was basically Versailles part 2: Emily is late and Patrick thinks she doesn't care about him and doesn't wait for her to arrive (OK this time he waits, but only because he's at home) and Emily often takes Patrick for granted. I so hope for a great romantic gesture from Emily in season 8

I remembered him as a pretty decent dude but maybe he is an ass in the kitchen department only? Like some sort of Gordon Ramsay but French? 😂 Also it's funny how the story started with Jean-Paul and is ending with Jean-Paul (if season 8 is the last one and they don't add more that is). Anyways I'm curious to see what his reaction will be, if he will try to win her back or will be particularly hard on her at the beginning because of her rejecting his proposal.. and ofc Patrick and Emily's reactions as well
