shooting at it somehow triggered flashbacks about me playing Halo 3 ODST's Kingzigo Boulevard on Legendary Difficulty. i think it forced me into a state of ultra instinct (as science calls the phenomenon) i beat windblight without taking a single quarter heart of damage.

felt like i was fighting an enderman that decided to steal skeleton's bow and arrow

similar experience during said playthrough of that Halo 3 ODST mission on legendary. got impatient with almost always destroying my tank so i did almost all of it on foot to tall the Tank weak, proceeded to rip as many enemies out of their vehicles as i could encouraged by the "can do what a spartan can" achievement because i kept getting nailed by the wraith from the start and decided if it wanted to fight then i was going to fight it. that tank could suck my... woah there collaboris; watch the language.

@@schwany6703 In champion Ballad you can refight the blight but during the refight you limited on what gear you can use. In the refight of Waterblight ganon you have 1 bow with 10 arrows (normal) and 3 spears with a full 2 star set of Zora armor try doing this fight without using the slate and only using Mipha grace It actually pretty hard.

I thought this boss was harder than both Windblight and Fireblight. It hit me a lot more for the reasons you mentioned and it's annoying how during the second phase there is water in the room and not only can you not attack while you're swimming (except with the spin attack if you have the Zora helm), but if you do fall in you both need to try and avoid being attacked and keep track of your stamina so it doesn't run out and you drown!

I was today years old when I discovered you can cast Stasis on the ice cubes it creates and launch them back into its face. This will not only damage it, but stun it, too. Very useful if you are doing the Champions' Ballad.

I think this version of Blight Ganon is the best. The piano and use of oboe fits in a bit better than the other versions. :3 In other versions, the unique "background" gets overwhelmed by the orchestra to the point where it doesn't seem like it's there. The oboe only enhances the music, and the sharpness of the piano comes through clearly, kind of acting like a extra bit of percussion.

Mipha was the first champion i saved and i’m so glad i did - I went in completely blind and came out of it in absolute tears. Mipha is such a sweet character, and hearing her story and aiding her first was such an emotional ride for me. Mipha is so lovely man.

I remember screaming in terror as I hid behind the terminal for this boss since there was no cover and I was a noob with no stamina. You know I don't beleve you. Kass sung about how the Champions overcame a test and one of the things Mipha had to over come was to single-handedly defeat the Guardians at the Upland Zorane so I think that is proof she could use that trident pretty well.(And if she actually was nothing more than a healer I think she isn really worth liking much. )

When I played BOTW the first time I knew already that Mipha died in the calamity for what the King Of Hyrule told us at the beginning of the game. But seeing the thing that killed Mipha in person made me want to avenge her so badly. She was a sweet and brave warrior that died protecting Hyrule, she deserved justice.

With waterblight it helped a lot when I used revali's gale to have more time to aim and shoot a volley of 3 out of the 10 arrows given. That would stun him and make him fall and I would swim to that platform and strike it with every resource that you have.

For some reason I find that this theme sounds like bouldergeist's theme from mario galaxy and Cynthia's theme from pokemon diamond and pearl, played on top of each other with slightly different notes/instruments...

Anyway, this was the first one I fought, I found it really hard, it's where I learned to flurry rush and stuff, so this one's my favorite, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

This was my first Divine beast. Four hearts. I had used cyronis to get to the keep and fight the stalnox early. I got the Hylian Shield and (somehow) both the Thunderblade and Great Thunderblade. I seriously said "gg ez" when I beat it.

I remember looking up a guide for how to do the illusory realm in master mode. When I learned how to do it and when I got it it was amazing. Those fights against it are perfection!

As this blight Ganon is usually the one we meet first before the others, is therefore one of the hardest, because we don't know his mechanics yet and we're not protected with Mipha's grace.

Remember under the Cistern Cavern? Remember how the red water hurt you? See the Malice throughout the game? It hurts you the same way. They're even very close to the same color.

And I don't believe Skyward Sword was the only game with this stuff either. Also Demise mentions how his curse of hate and malice will be reborn.

Bruh, the Malice evolved and is now so far advanced it has eyes and mouths that spits out reanimated skulls of what it either consumed or (the more likely) unfortunate bokoblin/lizalfo to die from being in physical contact with it too long.

The build up to waterblight scared the frick outta me. Cuz this was the first one I fought and the only thing I knew about it was it killed mipha in cold blood and it’s controlling a giant elephant that was meant to protect people. But it was surprisingly easy.

Yeah I was especially brutal to this boss second time around. But the way the game suggests she died “careful that thing has a long reach” like all the other champions? Sure they prolly stood a chance. Mipha? She had a spear and razors powers this ganon hung out of her range and continuously impaled her. Like all other champions died but killing mipha is one of the darkest things about this game, getting blown up, head cut off, or 360 no scoped headshot (relatively quick, painless deaths). Getting impaled? Long and drawn out. I had zero fucks to give.

They say Link is named like that because he's literally "a link between the player and the game"
He's the perfect blank slate, he's a main character on which you can dump all your feelings and emotions and make it fit his character, not only Link feels the way the player wants him to feel, he feels exactly how the player feels.
That being said, in my experience Link took this fight VERY personal and held nothing back against this particular blight lmao

(one time when i was replaying BotW i managed to defeat Waterblight Ganon without even giving it a chance to hit me, and i pretty much gave it no oportunity to fight back since i was trashing it so badly, the fight was pretty short, but i like to think Link just punched the absolute crap out of it the moment he laid his eyes on it lol)
