Y sin darme cuenta ya no estabas aquí.
No supe cuidarte ni llenarte de mí,
Me quedan las manos vacías sin tí.
Y AUNQUE NO ESTÉS DEJASTE AQUÍ
Y AUNQUE NO ESTES DEJASTE AQUÍ
TODA TU LUZ BRILLANDO EN MÍ
TODA TU DULZURA QUEDÓ IMPREGNADA AQUÍ.
Y el dolor de tu voz,
Diciéndome adios...
Y AUNQUE NO ESTÉS DEJASTE AQUÍ
TODA TU LUZ BRILLANDO EN MÍ,
TODA TU DULZURA QUEDÓ IMPREGNADA AQUÍ.
Y AUNQUE NO ESTÉS DEJASTE AQUÍ
TODA TU LUZ BRILLANDO EN MÍ,
TODA TU DULZURA QUEDÓ IMPREGNADA AQUÍ.
OOOO, UUUU, AAA
Y AUNQUE NO ESTÉS DEJASTE AQUÍ
TODA TU LUZ BRILLANDO EN MÍ,
TODA TU DULZURA QUEDÓ IMPREGNADA AQUÍ.
OOOO, MMMM.
The lyrics to Mariana Ochoa's song "Aunque no estes" express feelings of loss, regret, and the realization of not appreciating someone until they are gone. The singer reflects on a past relationship, acknowledging that they had the person in their arms but then lost them. They express the realization that the person is no longer there, and they did not know how to take care of or fully appreciate them. As a result, the singer feels empty and alone without this person.
The chorus, "Y aunque no estés, dejaste aquí toda tu luz brillando en mí, toda tu dulzura quedó impregnada aquí," conveys the idea that even though the person is not physically present, their essence remains with the singer. The phrase "toda tu luz brillando en mí" translates to "all your light shining in me," indicating that the person's positive qualities and impact continue to be felt. Similarly, "toda tu dulzura quedó impregnada aquí" means "all your sweetness remained impregnated here," suggesting that the memories and affection shared with this person still resonate deeply within the singer.
In the bridge, the singer mentions the pain they felt when hearing the person's voice saying goodbye. This further emphasizes the sense of loss and missed opportunities in the relationship.
Overall, the lyrics of "Aunque no estes" convey a sense of regret for not valuing and caring for someone until it is too late, as well as the lasting impact they have on the singer's life.
