Luna llena

Me faltan tus abrazos,
Me faltas tú y no estás a mi lado, no.
Mi luna llena, a tí te regalo hoymi amor.
The lyrics of Mariana Ochoa's song Luna llena are about a love that once felt inseparable but has since been torn apart. The singer and her partner used to walk the same path, but now they are on opposite sides. Despite the distance, the singer still longs for her lover and hopes that they too are looking up at the same moon and thinking of her. The chorus of the song declares that she will no longer cry over their lost love, even though it's difficult to move on without her lover by her side. The singer remembers their past together fondly, but now the beautiful memories are clouded by the pain of their separation.
The lyrics are powerful and emotional, as the singer expresses the sadness and longing that comes with the end of a relationship. The references to the moon add a beautiful and romantic element to the song, as the singer imagines herself and her lover connected by the same celestial object, even though they are physically apart. The repetition of the chorus, with its declaration that the singer will not cry anymore, reinforces the idea that she is trying to be strong and move forward, even though it's difficult.

Tu y yo inseparables
We were inseparable, like our destiny had already been written.
It was as if destiny had already mapped out our path.
Pero un día nos alejó
But one day, we were pulled apart.
Leaving you on one side and me on the other.
If I only knew that somewhere you're gazing up at the sky,
Seeing me in the moon, this same moon that I'm seeing now,
Ye hablaría para decir: Aún te amo
I would speak up to say: I still love you.
Luna llena juro ya que no
Full moon, I promise not to
Voy a llorar más por nuestro amor
Cry anymore for our love.
Sigo tratando de ser fuerte
I keep trying to be strong,
Pero es difícil no tenerte
But it's difficult not to have you by my side.
Las noches se han vuelto frías
The nights have turned cold,
But my reality clings onto your warmth,
Me faltan tus abrazos,
I miss your hugs,
Me faltas tú y no estás a mi lado, no.
I miss you and you're not here by my side.

Don't you remember when I kissed you?
Y la luna prometió volver
And the moon promised to come back
To witness what was once beautiful love,
Ahora solo nubla éste dolor.
Now it only clouds this pain.
Ve la luna y habla corazón
Look at the moon and speak from the heart,
Dile si tú sientes el dolor,
Tell it if you feel the pain,
Une mi alma con la tuya,
Join my soul with yours,
Sabes? te amo más que nunca.
You know? I love you more than ever.
Si puedes sentir todo lo que soy,
If you can feel everything I am,
Mi luna llena, a tí te regalo hoy mi amor.
My full moon, I give you my love today.
