I start Spring Cleaning tomorrow and my stereo is going to get abused with Martha, Aretha, Motown and Northern Soul.( if you are familiar with the Northern Soul Genre) Nothing under 50 years old and I am going to literally shake the house as I clean (unless I blow my speakers, which would be a really bad day) Don't know about my hips being loosened, but I could have very well dislocated them by the end of the day. lol.

If you are not from the UK, have a look at this.

The best Motown tunes ever. Great lyrics, great orchestration, great musicians, and of course great vocalists.

Oh yes!

I've said it before and I'll say it again- I wasn't around in the 1960's but it was a bloody incredible time for music.

I’m a white kid growing up in the 60s and can you imagine hearing this bunch parallel to the main stream, it was shocking and every genre liked it. Corporations have killed the art of it, just give radio the money and they’ll play anything and do, absolutely no self respect.

So trueeeee

John Bishop

Yes, it was, so much quality stuff.

I was born in 1994 and I love music from the entire 20th century from the 1900s to the 1990s. When it comes to music, I live by the saying, "Variety is the spice of life." I don't have anything against today's music. I mean, I enjoy Bruno Mars and Imagine Dragons. However, I will be honest about one thing. While I like hip hop and rap as much as the next person, I despise music that involves twerking or anything related to such dancing, such as this song for example.

This is fantastic, I love the bass when they go up a notch and also when the singing stops-it’s making great moves underneath, this Motown band were amazing, I agree it just makes you want to move.
