Bosé was born in San Fernando Hospital in Panama City, Panama, the son of the famous Italian actress Lucia Bosé and the legendary bullfighter Luis Miguel González Lucas. He is also cousin of Carmen Ordóñez. His Godfather was Luchino Visconti.
In 1971, Bosé started a career as an actor, participating in various movies. However, he did not make that many films, and in 1975 he decided a career change was due and started exploring his talents as a singer. By the hand of Camilo Blanes he recorded his first singles. Some years later Bosé signed a contract with CBS Records in 1977 and he remained with them until 1984.
On March 16 of 2010 he received the Colombian citizenship during a ceremony in the presidential palace, Casa de Nariño.
Los chicos no lloran
Miguel Bosé Lyrics

Y un corazon en paro bastaría?
Por que estoy loco y es mas
Estoy loco y me aguanto
Hey! Que sería de ti? Hey! Qué dices
Encanto?
Y otro pecado capital, qué será?
Y bailaremos eh? Y bailaremos eh?
Es mi vida no quiero cambiar
Los chicos no lloran sólo pueden soñar
Es mi vida no quiero cambiar
Los chicos no lloran tienen que pelear
Es mi vida ah! Es mi vida ah!
The lyrics to Miguel Bosé's song Los Chicos No Lloran (Boys Don't Cry) are about a rebellious and carefree attitude towards life. The singer describes himself as a "canalla" or scoundrel, with a heart that, figuratively speaking, has stopped beating. He questions whether a person like him would be enough, and wonders who wouldn't want to leave with him for the Congo, indifferent to finding a "nice" guy or changing his ways. He talks about committing a capital sin but asks what difference it would make to his life.
The chorus of the song speaks to the idea that his life is the way it is, and he doesn't want to change it. The boys in the song don't cry, they can only dream and fight for what they want. The lyrics suggest that there is a clear dichotomy between the singer's way of life and those who would try to change him. The anthem-like quality of the chorus and the upbeat tempo lend to the idea that the singer is proud of his way of life and unapologetic about it.
Overall, the song is about embracing a life with few limits and accepting the parts of oneself that are often seen as taboo or wrong. The message of the song is one of individuality and being true to oneself, even if others may not necessarily approve. It's an empowering message about living without fear or shame.
