All I wanted was a record deal
I had a dream to get a record deal.

A couple dollars when I got it
I expected to have some wealth after getting my dream fulfilled.

I was confused as to why my newfound wealth didn't solve all my problems.

Unfortunately, my idea of getting bigger didn't work out.

Despite having a big chest, there was still an emotional void within me.

I even bought a chain but I used to glow in the dark
I even tried to wear flashy accessories, but it didn't make me feel any happier.

But it didn't work though
Sadly, none of my efforts to improve myself worked.

Haters would try to interrupt my work and it would bother me.

Hear them haters talk shit
People who didn't support me would talk negatively about me.

And I took it personal
I internalized their negative words and took it to heart.

But today I feel like someone answered my prayers
But recently, I feel like my prayers have been answered and things are getting better.

I know it’s comin out so it’s cool
I'm excited for the new things that are coming out and I'm feeling positive.

Now, let's delve deeper into my true self.

Let's discover what's really within me.

What makes the real me?
What is truly me, beneath all the external factors?

These are my struggles and my painful experiences.

These are the things that make up my entire story, my life experiences.

These are the things that drive me, define me and are essential to my personal journey.

These are the aspects of me that are not perfect, my mistakes, my beliefs, my faith.
