MO3 was born Melvin Noble in 1992. His rap debut came in the form of his 2014 mixtape, Shottaz. On the strength of that effort, he developed a local following and inked a deal with his idol, rapper Boosie Badazz. The sequel to his debut, Shottaz Reloaded, arrived at the close of 2015. The album featured "Hold Ya Tongue," which went on to become a moderate hit for MO3, notching nearly two million streaming views in the year after its release. Reloaded hit number 14 on the Billboard Rap chart, climbing to number two on the Heatseekers chart. His follow-up, 4 Indictments, appeared in late 2016 and topped the Heatseekers chart early the following year. He also issued the Gangsta Love, Pt. 1 mixtape in 2017.
Badazz MO3MO3's 2018 project Shottaz 3.0 would include one of his biggest hits yet, the cautionary "Errybody," which also racked up millions in streaming numbers. The next year found MO3 mainly releasing singles, including the Aaliyah-sampling "No Feelings" and the stormy "Too Much Pride." In February 2020, he teamed with storied Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz for the collaborative mixtape Badazz MO3. The project quickly entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 136.
Noble was shot and killed on November 11, 2020. While being pursued by another vehicle as he was driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas, he crashed on the side of the road and attempted to flee on foot before an unidentified gunman shot him in the back of the head.

Just got a call from a big dawg and he said, "three, you got this shit on lock" (On lock)
But I got niggas gone for murder, I can hear β²em now
But we just caught one of the op's and left β²em on the ground
Put 'em all up in the sky, won't get your friend back (Your friend back)
For the one who seen that, tell β²em that I meant that (I meant that)
Heard they put money on my head, I got the drop, so look, they scared now
Tell β²em hide when I'm outside, I make them bitches put they head down
My soulβ²s so cold, yeah
I see dead bodies of my op's whenever Iβ²m sleep, I got my head back
On the road all alone, yeah (They mad)
She only fuck me 'cause Iβ²m up, don't say you love me, hoe, just lay it down
Why this love don't seem to be
What you told me it would be?
I know I act hard sometimes (I know, yeah)
I put my pride to the side, β²cause, look, it hurt when you changed on me (Changed on me)
Yeah, all I know (I know)
I wanna be right when I know Iβ²m wrong (I'm wrong)
The love I got for you, I hope the pain donβ²t show (Don't show)
And even when it rain, you be the one I want (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
And all I wanna know from you, yeah (Oh, yeah)
Is would you ride for me? (Yeah) Bust that fire for me? (That fire)
If I ask you for the truth, would you lie to me? (You lie)
You, you, you, you on side of me (On side), thatβ²s how it's gotta be (Gang)
For my brothers, yeah (HSM)
For my brothers in the gang, know I wonβ²t change on them (I won't)
BG4L, I'll drop that bag, gonβ² put them chains on them (They froze)
In the name of Bubba, this gorilla, got his name on me (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
They donβ²t feel the way I feel, yeah (They don't feel the way I feel, yeah)
219, I know you smiling down on me (On me)
I donβ²t care 'bout what they say β²bout me, 'cause this shit here get deep (Oh, it get deep)
Cause me and you and God know what I did in these streets (Yeah)
Iβ²ma take it to the grave (Take it to the grave)
Till I see you again my friend
I'ma tell you about the gangster shit and what the gang did (What?)
And I'ma tell you about the time that we spinned on all of them (Baow), why (Baow)
Need all the passion when Iβ²m laughing, itβ²s a must
Cause I got pain on my body, I don't wanna hurt nobody, yeah
Jump out in traffic, β²bout that action, I'ma bust
Another body on my chopper, look, Iβ²m sorry, I need love, yeah
Yeah, all I know (I know)
I wanna be right when I know I'm wrong (Iβ²m wrong)

If I ask you for the truth, would you lie to me? (You lie)
You, you, you, you on side of me (On side), thatβ²s how itβ²s gotta be (yeah, gang)
The song "I Wanna Kno" by Mo3 is a melancholic and emotional piece that deals with themes of love, loyalty and loss in the context of gang violence. The first verse starts with Mo3 receiving a call from a fellow gang member congratulating him for having things under control. However, Mo3 reveals that there are several people on the other side who are looking to take him down. He talks about the guilt he feels for taking the lives of his oppressors and the pain and anxiety that comes with the constant fear of retaliation. Mo3 speaks about the numbness that he has developed regarding the violence around him, and how sleeping is the only time where he can find some mental respite, if only momentarily. He then switches to talking about his love interests, stating that he doesn't want them to verbally profess their love for him, but instead show it with physical affection as he struggles with opening up emotionally.
The chorus of the song is a pleading question of loyalty from his entourage. Mo3 is looking for someone who is willing to protect him from harm, lie for him when necessary and have his back when he is in need. He is asking if they will go to that extent of showing him solidarity in return for his loyalty, even if it meant sacrificing anything for him.
The second verse continues the themes of the first. Mo3 speaks of his love and loyalty for his gang and the desire to immortalize his friend Bubba, who died too soon, by continuing to live life with the same values as him. Mo3 talks about how people often misunderstand him and his actions and the disillusionment that comes with it. He concludes the verse by talking about the irresponsibility of his actions as a gang member and his regret regarding the innocent people who have become collateral damage as a result of the violence.
Overall, the song I Wanna Kno is an honest portrayal of the conflicting emotions that come with being a part of a violent gang, while also dealing with the consequences of such a life.

Although my reputation is strong and I am respected, I have lost friends to violence and can hear their voices in my head. I show off my wealth and status by driving with the top down but I am also involved in the dangerous world of gang violence and have left someone dead. Despite the fact that one cannot change the past, I am willing to own up to my actions and am unafraid of those who might seek retribution against me.
My soulβ²s so cold, yeah
I see dead bodies of my op's whenever Iβ²m sleep, I got my head back

As a member of my gang, I am unconditionally loyal to my brothers and will not betray them. I am willing to put my money where my mouth is and will spend on them as necessary. In honor of a fallen comrade, I have taken on his name as my own. I am unafraid of criticism from others and the dangers of my lifestyle because I know that I am doing what I need to survive and thrive.
Iβ²ma take it to the grave (Take it to the grave)

Even after death, I will remain true to my gang and will keep our secrets safe. I will remember the intense experiences that we shared and the enemies that we fought together. I laugh with great intensity because I carry deep physical and emotional pain, but I do not want to harm others. I am willing to take dangerous risks and will harm others if necessary, but I also recognize the gravity of my actions and wish that I did not have to resort to violence.
