MO3 was born Melvin Noble in 1992. His rap debut came in the form of his 2014 mixtape, Shottaz. On the strength of that effort, he developed a local following and inked a deal with his idol, rapper Boosie Badazz. The sequel to his debut, Shottaz Reloaded, arrived at the close of 2015. The album featured "Hold Ya Tongue," which went on to become a moderate hit for MO3, notching nearly two million streaming views in the year after its release. Reloaded hit number 14 on the Billboard Rap chart, climbing to number two on the Heatseekers chart. His follow-up, 4 Indictments, appeared in late 2016 and topped the Heatseekers chart early the following year. He also issued the Gangsta Love, Pt. 1 mixtape in 2017.
Badazz MO3MO3's 2018 project Shottaz 3.0 would include one of his biggest hits yet, the cautionary "Errybody," which also racked up millions in streaming numbers. The next year found MO3 mainly releasing singles, including the Aaliyah-sampling "No Feelings" and the stormy "Too Much Pride." In February 2020, he teamed with storied Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz for the collaborative mixtape Badazz MO3. The project quickly entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 136.
Noble was shot and killed on November 11, 2020. While being pursued by another vehicle as he was driving on Interstate 35 in Dallas, he crashed on the side of the road and attempted to flee on foot before an unidentified gunman shot him in the back of the head.

Hey, ohh
Ooh-wee
I've had some ups and downs
Who would've knew that I would make it this far?
All of my life they did me wrong
Time after time they left me 'lone, yeah
But by myself, I stood on my own
Without no help, they wouldn't pick up the phone
'Cause they did me cold
Some things that I would never say (never say)
Like God I'm hurtin' but I'm hurtin'
I ain't perfect but I pray that I see better days, yeah
And if you love me, why you let these niggas hate on me this way?
I need a break, yeah
He told me, "I gave you a gift
And with that gift I hope you change the world and elevate" (elevate, oh)
So fuck who never stayed and separate
Sometimes I gotta keep it real
And tell 'em how I feel, yeah
But they don't seem to understand
That God gave me a second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
And I don't need nobody, just gon' get my money
Down on my knees, I got a blessing coming
'Cause He gave me a second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
No matter what today bring
I'ma always keep my head up for the days that I got fed up
Been through the storm, I felt the rain
And every time that I had prayed, I felt like I never said enough
It's like I'm talking to the wall
Got on my grind when I fell off
My stomach empty, I was hungry
I never crossed none of my dawgs
And never fucked none of they bitches 'cause that's law, I'm one hunnid
You gotta feel me when I say this
I was so broke, I'm tryna find a bitch I could stay with
Long as my dick good, lil' mama gon' let me stay with her
Ad drive her car tomorrow when I drop her off for the day, nigga
Sometimes I gotta keep it real
And tell 'em how I feel, yeah
But they don't seem to understand
That God gave me a second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
And I don't need nobody, just gon' get my money
Down on my knees, I got a blessing coming
'Cause He gave me a second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
He took me out them streets (I'm sayin')
Got on my knees that's when He put me on my feet (amen)
I was so down that I could barely get no sleep (amen)
I felt so weak, yeah, but now I'm up, yeah (why)
Second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
He gave me a second chance, second chance, yeah
Second chance, second chance
