Huh, well she let me off at first
But since then I've got away with worse (It's true)
I've got a way with words
Flashbacks every time that I see a hearse
So tell Mercedes that I want that car reimbursed
Tell the police it ain't our group they should try disperse
Got away once but since then I've got away with worse (Way worse)
I've got a way with words
I don't fear death, I just fear not living
Do something with your life stop thirsting over women
Hard to compete with these guys when they're sinning so I sin too (I do)
And end up cheating like that Lance Armstrong dude (I do)
Life changed up man we're really tryna live sweet (So sweet)
I'm buying beats but I went to Amsterdam for weed and not to clap cheeks
I've got a way with words you can't repeat these techniques
But now they see the wave like when I drive past Ellie
I wanna pay my own wages and for mum to see me on the tele (It's me)
Pub culture I'm at the jukebox playing Jamie Foxx
But the girls turned up now it's playing Nelly
Must've wrote dear Shelley like a thousand times
They wanna kill me for the crimes
But for now raps mainstream nobody dies (Nobody dies)
Rat race chasing money running for their lives
But that's how it go
I'll row on my boat on my own just going with flow
Taking whatever comes or what doesn't come bro (Just going with the flow bro)
And I can rap on a dark beat that sticks in your mind
And increases your heart beat
But on the other side sometimes I provide mellow vibes
For cruising in the ride
Or blowing hella smoke another cloud in the sky (Ayy)
You know the music loud 'cause the car vibrates
And it's a twenty one plate no hate
It's bait on the curbs
I've been blinded by her curves
Only once that occurs
Funny now it's the cool kids looking up to nerds (Funny that)
'Cause they're financially stable no food on your table (None at all)
How can't you see the path their going down is fatal
Be willing and able to learn and learn in different ways
I've been sick for seven days
Symptoms not been getting paid
Yeah you felt pressure but not the pressure that the world weighs
Or pressure when the haze pays
UK rap full of fucking cliches
Had to pray 'cause my girl went and caught the bouquet
I'm here and I'm here to amaze
Amazed that you man get an eighth and go and split it four ways
Life a battle and silly is a rest
So it got silly mixing bag with the zest
So I just roll with my clique like a trundle wheel
If I'm in the function, wheel (Wheel that)
Then keep your eyes peeled (Eyes peeled)
But an eye for an eye just turn the whole world blind
So swallow your pride

An eye for an eye just turn the whole world blind
So swallow your pride and fuck

Overall Meaning

In the first verse of O.U.T.I.Z.M. Inc.'s song "Way," the singer talks about being away from home, out of sight, and feeling bored. Despite being away, nothing has changed, and they wonder who let the boredom into their life. The next stanza talks about their "rockin' rights" and how they will overcome any challenge. The mirror never lies, and they will show everyone how it's done. They always dress in black, not to be kind, but rather to be unkind.

The chorus is repeated multiple times throughout the song and emphasizes that the way of life they live in is not wrong. They take pride in the way they live and are strong individuals who will not be deceived or take any double-talk. The "fat cats bull" don't like the way they walk, and they are often the subject of unwelcomed class.

The last stanza questions whether people have truly lived their lives or if they are just going through the motions of working nine to five and finishing at fifty-five. The singer believes that life is a lie for some people who have clipped their wings to fly. If they had taken a different path, they could have had it all.
