Lágrimas Del Alma

Por que quizás jamás
En la vida te vuelva a encontrar
Nos tenemos que decir adiós por qué
Tal vez será
Nuestra última noche de amor
Capullito de rosas que tienes para ti
Corazoncito mío
Aquí dentro de mi alma
Está lloviendo
Cómo lluvia de llanto
Lágrimas de amor
Ya está la madrugada
Ya empieza a amanecer
Pero en mi triste vida
Parece anochecer
Aquí dentro de mi alma está lloviendo
Como lluvia de llanto lágrimas de amor
Ya está la madrugada
Ya empieza a amanecer
Pero en mi triste vida
Parece anochecer
Aquí dentro de mi alma está lloviendo
Cómo lluvia de llanto lágrimas de amor
In "Lagrimas del Alma," Olimpo Cardenas sings about saying goodbye to someone he loves deeply, knowing that they may never see each other again. He laments that this may be their last night together, and that he must leave for reasons unknown. The imagery of a "capullito de rosas" (a little rosebud) that he has for this person represents the love he has for them, and how it is delicate and beautiful. The tears that fall from his eyes are a symbol of his sadness and heartbreak as he bids farewell.
The repetition of the chorus creates a sense of emotional intensity in the song, as Olimpo repeats that "inside his soul it is raining tears of love." This illustrates how deeply he feels the pain of leaving this person behind. Despite the dawn approaching, he feels as if darkness looms over his sad existence.
The song's lyrics are relatable, as they capture the pain of saying goodbye to someone you love deeply. Olimpo's powerful voice, combined with the emotional lyrics, make "Lagrimas del Alma" a timeless classic that resonates with audiences of all ages.
