1) Ott is a record producer and musician who has worked with Sinéad O'Connor, Embrace, The Orb, and Brian Eno, and has achieved recognition since 2002 for his own psychedelic dub tracks and his collaborations with Simon Posford (Hallucinogen / Shpongle). He has released two albums on Twisted Records: Blumenkraft (2003), Skylon (2008) and one album on Ottsonic: Mir (2011). Ottsonic also released a digital live album in 2013, by Ott & The All-Seeing I, as well as a new digital single from Ott, entitled Baby Robot (2013).
Since the early 2000s, Ott has produced, mixed and recorded music released on Twisted Records, including various collaborations with founder Simon Posford. His first major contribution to Twisted was the record Hallucinogen - In Dub, on which he remixed six classic Hallucinogen songs. In May 2003 he released his own album, Blumenkraft, on Twisted; it was reviewed by The Wire. His work has also been featured in releases from the record label Liquid Sound Design (now known as Liquid Sound, run by Martin Glover), especially those compilations produced by Humphrey Bacchus during his time at the label. He followed up his debut album in January 2008 with Skylon, followed by Mir in March 2011.
Ott performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2007. His performance at Glade Festival in 2011 was described as "the perfect opening act" in an article at Virtual Festivals. That publication also called Ott a "Psy-dub maestro" and gave his performance a full 10/10.
Ott was accompanied by the The All-Seeing I on tour in 2013, where the latter contributed to live versions of Ott's tracks. This tour was recorded and released in Blu-ray under the title "Live at Terminal West", which also was the title for the live album release.
Ott is otherwise connected to Umberloid which is a collaboration with Chris Barker.
He has also contributed to several other records on Twisted as well as other labels.

The group split in 1998 after being dropped by their record label.
All or Nothing

Half a love, never appealed to me
If your heart, never could yield to me
Then I'd rather (rather) have nothing at all
All or nothing at all
If it's love, there is no in between
Why begin then cry, for something that might have been
But please don't bring your lips so close to my cheek
Don't smile or I'll be lost beyond recall
The kiss in your eyes, the touch of your hand makes me weak
And my heart may go dizzy and fall
And if I fell (I fell) under the spell of your call
I would be, caught in the undertow
So you see, I've got to say no, no
All or nothing at all
Ott's song "All or Nothing" is a track that speaks of uncompromising love. The song begins with the repetition of the phrase "all or nothing at all" which sets the stage for the idea that the singer's love is unyielding and will accept nothing less than complete devotion. The lyrics continue to emphasize this point by stating that half-hearted love has no appeal for the singer. He would rather have nothing than settle for a love that is not full and passionate.
The song then goes on to explore the idea that when one is in love, there can be no in-between. Love is all-consuming, and there is no room for anything else. It's better not to start a relationship if it's just going to end up in tears. The singer makes it clear that he would rather have nothing than settle for something that is less than perfect.
The third verse of the song introduces a conflict. The singer admits that he is vulnerable to the advances of the person he is singing to. The lyrics describe the power of the kiss on the cheek and the touch of the hand that makes him feel weak. He knows that he is in danger of falling under their spell, but he remains resolute that he would rather have nothing at all than something that is less than perfect.
Overall, "All or Nothing" is a song that speaks of unwavering love and the idea that it's better to have nothing than settle for something less than perfect. The lyrics evoke powerful emotions and capture the heartache that can come with love.
