5-piece Post-Hardcore/Pop band from Essex, United Kingdom.
They were formed in 2009 after the demise of a previous band, and another member leaving his band. The lineup were originally formed as a 4-piece with Vocal roles being filled by the guitarist and the bassist. The band later introduced a synth player into the mix, and now the band are complete.
The bands name derives from the Star Wars character, "Princess Padmé" and a lot of the band songs derive from movie quotes and trivia. The songs are not Star Wars themed however.
The band are set to record an EP in December, and are looking to start playing a lot of shows from September onwards.

The song "Son Birkaç Şey" by Padmé talks about the memories and experiences that have shaped her life. She reflects on her past and realizes that there are only a few things left that she hasn't shared with the world. The lyrics suggest that these unsaid words have caused harm to herself and others, and she's holding onto them because they are all that's left of her past.
The first verse is about Padmé's humble status in life, as she divulges that the only things left to remember her by are memories that she cherishes. She feels like the listener might not think these memories are significant, as they are all she has in life. The second verse talks about the things that Padmé has gained, such as money, but they ultimately mean nothing when compared to the memories she has in her mind from her past. She's okay with her life, even if others think it's lacking.
The chorus of the song repeats "Son Birkaç Şey" which means "Only A Few Things Left" in English. The line "Söylenmemiş sözler, çok can yaktı" which means "Unsaid words have caused much harm" reveals the weight of the items she has yet to talk about. The lyrics suggest that she's felt lost in the present because she can't shake off the feeling that she left something undone in the past. She ends the song by repeating the chorus, indicating that the unsaid words will always be with her.
