Paramore, as a quartet, released their debut studio album, All We Know Is Falling, in 2005. The band rose to prominence in 2007 after the release of the hit single Misery Business from their second studio album Riot!. Crushcrushcrush and That's What You Get were released as the following singles experiencing commercial success. The band was nominated for "Best New Artist" at the 2008 Grammy Awards. The band announced the official line-up addition of Taylor York in June 2009 prior to the release of Brand New Eyes due later the same year. Josh Farro (guitar) and his brother Zac Farro left the band the following year, resulting in Paramore to continue as a trio.
From 2013 to 2014, Paramore released several singles from the self-titled album, including the singles Still Into You and Ain't It Fun. The latter became the band's highest-peaking single as well as their first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned the band their first Grammy award for "Best Rock Song" the following year. At the end of 2015, it was reported Jeremy Davis (bass guitar) left the band.
In 2017, Zac Farro officially rejoined the band, prior to the release of their fifth studio album, "After Laughter".
Holiday
Paramore Lyrics

Big girl problems no more
High school drama
Graduated with honors
And I'm drinking coffee while I
Read the paper, I've been
Saving money
Now I get a holiday
Wherever I go I must stay
I don't plan on coming back
Ever if I can hold back
Now I get a holiday
Think I'll stay
Holiday
I'll stay
The lyrics to Paramore's song "Holiday" are a snapshot of personal growth and newfound independence. The opening lines signal a change from facing adolescent problems to tackling more mature issues. The singer expresses a sense of empowerment and accomplishment by stating that they've graduated with honors and no longer have to deal with the drama of their high school days. Meanwhile, they are savoring small pleasures like drinking coffee while reading the paper and living within a thrifty budget by eating only top ramen.
The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Now I get a holiday" as a declaration of personal freedom. The singer is not talking about a vacation, but rather an escape from the constraints of their former life. They relish the chance to stay wherever they go and have no intention of coming back if they find a way to resist that urge. The repeated phrase "Think I'll stay, holiday" confirms their commitment to finding a new path, unencumbered by their past.
On the whole, "Holiday" is a song about seizing the chance for change and creating new opportunities for oneself. The lyrics aspire to inspire listeners to take hold of their own lives and leave behind what is no longer beneficial or fulfilling, much like the singer in the song.

My favorite parts of their albums are their interludes. So easy to memorize and sing and they're just awesome :0
