Uh yeah
Baby, I will love you till kingdom come
I got you, you got me
Love you till kingdom come
Baby, I will love you till kingdom come
I got you, you got me
Love you till kingdom come
Never ever, never ever
(I got you, you got me)
(I got you, you got me, ah, ah)
Baby, I will love you till kingdom come
I got you (I got you), you got me (you got me)
Love you till kingdom come, oh, oh, eh, eh, oh
I got you, you got me (hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo)
I got you, you got me (hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo)
I love you till kingdom come
"Kingdom Come" by Red Velvet is a song about falling in love at first sight and the feelings that come with it, even though the person has never been touched or pursued romantically before. The lyrics describe the moment when someone's eyes meet another's and they feel as though they are walking down a path in a distant dream, as if they had never been touched before. The other person's intoxicating light blinds them, and their heart bursts with a feeling so strong that it's never been felt before. The lyrics also explain that even if this love is just an ephemeral fantasy or someone's heart gets broken miserably, they won't give up on it, and they will love their partner until they die.
In the chorus, the lyrics declare that the person only wants to be with their love forever, and even after waking up from the dream, they don't want to let it go because it feels like a fantasy that they could never get tired of. The bridge of the song sings about the singer wanting to get lost deeper in love and not wanting to be saved, and they know that as long as they have this love, they will never lose their way.
Overall, "Kingdom Come" is a song about being swept up in a whirlwind of powerful emotions from the moment someone meets a new love, even if they have never experienced these sensations before. The lyrics express the idea that this kind of love is worth fighting for, even if there are obstacles to overcome or when it seems that the fantasy of love might fade.
