After playing with some bands, he founded Ñu with Carlos Molina, but some disagreements between them made him leave the band and join Leño in 1978, who achieved success and created the called "Rock urbano" (Urban rock).
In the top of their career, they decide to dissolve because of the bad relationship of the components.
In 1985 Loco por incordiar is released, his first album as Rosendo, with a more classical rock sound.
Since then he has published 19 LPs, El endemico embustero y el incauto pertinaz (2007) being the last.
El Ultimo Golpe
Rosendo Lyrics

Pero sumando es suficiente
Sólo pudiste conseguir
Que se te arrugue el entrecejo.
Y no te mudes de escalón
Cuando se presta la ocasión
Escondes para ti
El último golpe antes de seguir.
Si te has negado a resfriar
Para un jurado deficiente
No hay historias de terror
Cuando me ves en el espejo.
Ya tiene un precio tu misión
Ya no te quema un resbalón
Escondes para ti
El último golpe antes de seguir.
Si no te sientes el mejor
Aunque te sabes diferente
Quien más quien menos pensará
Que ya te estás haciendo viejo.
Entre comillas la opinión
Punto y seguido otra canción
Y escondes para mí
El último golpe antes de seguir.
In Rosendo's song El Ultimo Golpe, he presents his audience with a critique of societal pressure and personal validation. The lyrics suggest that individuals often feel the need to constantly prove themselves to others by achieving success, whether that be in their career, financial status, or personal accomplishments. The line "No llegas a multiplicar, pero sumando es suficiente" (You may not be able to multiply, but adding up is enough) emphasizes the idea that individuals often feel the need to achieve greatness, even if it means simply adding small accomplishments together rather than reaching for something extraordinary.
The song also touches on the idea of staying in one's comfort zone and being afraid to take risks. Rosendo sings "No te mudes de escalón cuando se presta la ocasión" (Don't move up a step when the opportunity arises), suggesting that people may be too comfortable in their position to take a chance on something new, even when presented with the opportunity to do so. The line "Escondes para ti el último golpe antes de seguir" (You keep the last hit to yourself before moving on) implies that individuals may hold back their best effort for fear of failure or the pressure to constantly succeed.
Overall, El Ultimo Golpe is a reflection on the societal pressure to constantly achieve success and the personal struggle to prove oneself. The lyrics encourage listeners to not be afraid to take risks and to strive for greatness, but also to be kind to themselves and know that small accomplishments are enough.
