Onore no naka de sonzai suru akui
Kyouki musabetsu satsugai barabara suicide (Good-bye small life)
Killing me softly tonight
Yumemi kokochi na yuuutsu satellite
Kunou kakusei zetsuen panorama showcase (Good-bye small life)
Killing me softly tonight
Just give me sadness and love
Sonzai ha tanshoku no chiisana smile
Sennou ha saishiki na yogoreta lies
Dokusai ha monokuro no muimi na crime
Kakusei ha toumei na kowareta brain
Distract in your head
I cry, and be out of order
Hello, it's fine day
The lyrics to Sadie's song "Psycho Culture" are a depiction of the internal struggle of a person who is struggling to find purpose and meaning in their life. The opening line, "Ketsuraku shiteru omae ga ikiteru freedom" can be interpreted as the character feeling trapped in their own life, lacking any sense of freedom or autonomy. They feel as though they are living a life devoid of any meaning, and this is reflected by the line "Onore no naka de sonzai suru akui," which implies a sense of guilt or shame for simply existing.
The character's internal conflict is further represented by the lines "Kyouki musabetsu satsugai barabara suicide" and "Kunou kakusei zetsuen panorama showcase," which suggest a desire to escape their current reality through self-harm or even suicide. This is juxtaposed against the idea of "Yumemi kokochi na yuuutsu satellite," which implies a longing for something more, a dream-like quality that is seemingly out of reach.
The lyrics ultimately suggest that the character is looking for a way to find meaning and purpose in their life, but is struggling to do so. Despite this, there is a sense of resolve towards the end of the song, with the lines "Just give me sadness and love" and "Hello, it's fine day" implying a sense of acceptance and even hope for the future.
