The song "Naturaleza Muerta" by Sarah Brightman tells the story of Ana and Miguel, a couple whose love is forbidden by the jealous sea. The lyrics describe Ana and Miguel making love before sunrise, while the sea, driven by jealousy, refuses to look. Miguel, a fisherman, leaves Ana alone on the shore, promising to return soon. However, Ana waits in vain, as the sea takes Miguel prisoner for not wanting to yield to a woman. Ana eventually turns into a statue on the beach, waiting for Miguel's return. The song portrays the tragic consequences of forbidden love and the overwhelming power of the sea.
