Soy Feliz

Humildemente no sé bien
Siempre fui feliz
Porque soy feliz y ahora más
Rompí tus cartas y tus falsos sentimientos
The lyrics of Smitten's song Soy Feliz (I Am Happy) convey a journey of self-discovery and liberation after a tumultuous relationship. The singer acknowledges the losses and triumphs they have experienced while being with their significant other, highlighting the pain of losing them but also the relief of gaining freedom from their hatred. Despite being unsure of how to treat their partner and make them understand, the singer now knows how to treat them but acknowledges that it is of no use since nothing was done right from the start.
The lyrics show a deep emotional introspection by the singer, where they admit to crying without reason and regretting it, and looking at their partner's inner self to find nothing there. The singer has broken away from the relationship, and in the process, let go of the past by burning bridges, erasing memories, and seeking happiness in their life. They admit to not knowing how to treat their partner or what actions to take, but they gained happiness by taking back control of their life.
Overall, the lyrics are about moving on from a toxic relationship, finding closure, and being content with oneself. The repetitive affirmation of being happy and the acknowledgment of the past experiences present a sense of finality and peace.
