In 2005, The Adams released their self-titled debut album, featuring the singles "Konservatif" and "Waiting," both of which were also featured in the hit movie Janji Joni. Later in the year, Beni left to focus on his duties as drummer for The Upstairs, while Bimo moved to Bali to continue his studies. Karon ’N Roll guitarist Arfan (or Apoy) was drafted as bassist, Gigih Suryoprayogo Setiadi (alias Kiting) of It’s Different Class took over Bimo’s place behind the drumkit, and live keyboardist Retiara Haswidya Nasution (a.k.a Kaka) was promoted to full-time member.
In 2006, The Adams’ new line-up released v2.05, which expanded their old sound with more elaborate song structures and swirling five-part harmonies. With the hit singles "Halo Beni," "Hanya Kau" and "Selamat Pagi Juwita" and their electrifying live shows, The Adams have become one of Indonesia’s most exciting bands.
After a long hiatus in 2008 to work on other projects, The Adams are now back and ready to make more music and reconnect with their fans who have been awaiting their return.

You never come home
Try hard to lookin back
I know it's right the time has come
This everlasting
The day has gone by
And now who you are
There is one time when i'm fall
This everlasting
The day has gone by
Then the morning come
And now who you are
I wonder how if i running so high
Don't be surprised it is too late to try
You finally being my story letter
And feel my sophie word
You will fin
Who you are
This everlasting
The day has gone by
Then the morning come
And now who you are
The Adams's song Everlasting can be perceived as a reflective piece that delves into the concept of love, heartbreak, and the concept of moving on. From the beginning, there is a sense of abandonment as the persona sings, "There is one time when I'm fall, you never come home." It's a feeling of being left behind, a feeling of being stuck in love, and not knowing how to move on. However, as the song progresses, there is a sense of acceptance that develops, and the persona admits that "the time has come" to move on.
The use of the phrase "everlasting" in the chorus is significant. It signifies the emotions that remain after a relationship ends, the memories that linger on forever, and the pain that lasts longer than the relationship itself. The lines, "The day has gone by, then the morning comes, And now who you are" add to the theme of time passing and people changing. The use of the phrase "who you are" represents the idea of people changing, and not being the same person we once knew.
There seems to be a sense of resignation as the persona realizes that "it is too late to try," and the use of the phrase "finally being my story letter" signifies a sense of completion, a sense of letting go, and moving on. Overall, the song creates a somber tone that portrays the struggle of moving on from a failed relationship, acknowledging that despite the pain and hurt, the love remains everlasting.
