There is an introduction using acoustic piano and electric piano (a Hohner Pianet), with Paul McCartney and George Martin playing two different piano parts on separate ends of the same Steinway grand piano. The Steinway appears only in the song's intro and was overdubbed separately, as was McCartney's bass. According to Robert Fontenot of About.com, "the Beatles run the Steinway through a Hammond B-3's rotating Leslie speaker, a trick they would come back to over and over again. When the intro ends, you can actually hear the Leslie being switched off!"
You Like Me To Much

You'll be back again tonight
Telling me there'll be no next time
If I just don't treat you right
You'll never leave me and you know it's true
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
You've tried before to leave me
To walk out and make me lonely
Which is all that I deserve
You'll never leave me and you know it's true
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
I really do
And it's nice when you believe me
If you leave me
I will follow you and bring
You back where you belong
'Cause I couldn't really stand it
I admit that I was wrong
I wouldn't let you leave me 'cause it's true
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
I really do
And it's nice when you believe me
If you leave me
I will follow you and bring
You back where you belong
'Cause I couldn't really stand it
I admit that I was wrong
I wouldn't let you leave me 'cause it's true
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
'Cause you like me too much and I like you
The Beatles song "Love You Too" is about a relationship with someone who constantly threatens to leave if they are not treated properly. The singer is expressing their love for this person and begging them not to leave. The lyrics indicate that the partner has tried to leave before but lacks the courage to actually go through with it, despite feeling like they deserve to be alone. The singer reassures their partner that they will never leave them and that they genuinely like each other too much for that to happen. The line "I admit that I was wrong" suggests that the singer may have exhibited bad behavior in the past which could have contributed to the partner's desire to leave.
The song has a melancholic tone and exhibits a vulnerability in the singer. It is about the give and take of relationships, where one partner's fear of being alone can make them stay even when things are not perfect. Yet, the song ultimately emphasizes the importance of genuine love and the desire to be with the other person, even if it means admitting fault and making changes.
