Don was also pressured/bullied by Hollywood Access to admit he was gay and they completely set him up and upset the hell out of him. He ended up in a very dangerous place but I believe he is ok now. I respect Simon for his brutal honesty, it really seemed like he wasn't being mean but was legitimately trying to save the guy from any further disappointment. Tried to give the first dude the benefit of the doubt and checked out a couple of his songs on Spotify. He seemed overly nervous and like he was either on something or coming off something during his performance and thought that might have been why his voice was so rough. Most of the songs he had are way over produced like they're trying to improve his voice, but there was a couple songs that you could hear him clearly without anything enhancing him and it wasn't terrible. It wasn't the greatest in the world, but it was much better than that performance. Hopefully he's in a better place in now, because I honestly thought I was going to find out he was dead when I looked him up.

When Brittany said "no" The first guy broke down crying saying he's sorry for Brittany. I think that he misses her and wants to be with her (not romantically) I think he developed stress, nervousness and depression from coming out (as being gay) and the death of his lover so that's why he's acting like that. They literally tried for 10 minutes to make him explain what he had been doing all those years since his duet with Britney, and all he did was say how unworthy and untruthful he was, because he was gay, it was really tiresome and awkward, and on top of that accused Britney of being a homophobic. I did feel for Don, the first guy, but in all honesty, he put Brittany in a really awkward position, all of the judges really. I was impressed by Brittany, clearly empathetic and in a difficult situation, staying true to her position and giving an honest response. I hope he settles into a path better suited to him, he seems like a really nice fellow.

The first & last audition really hurt to watch but I gotta say the 24 year old in the last audition handled the rejection way better and the judge definitely handled it well by stepping away & hugging him. I thought she handled it better than the way Brittany did for the first audition but that guy had issues man, he is already 30 and needs to do something that will fulfill him.

I feel so bad for the first guy he put in so much effort and the way he tried so hard to do another song just broke my heart and made me cry you literally saw his heart break into a million pieces when Britney said no. I have never seen a man cry so hard in my entire life!! I honestly don't think his voice was bad, I just think it was because it was hoarse as it said in the beginning he was a vocal coach.If I had been a judge I would have said yes and given him a chance.😭💔
