The five boys that make up the group are: B-Joo, Hojoon, Yano, Xero, and Sangdo. They will take part in an ‘idol rebooting show’ called The Unit. Originally the group consisted of more members. Former members include A-Tom, Seogoong, Kidoh, P-Goon, Gohn, Hansol, Nakta and Jenissi.

In October 22, 2013, Topp Dogg made their first debut showcase and on October 24, 2013 the group released their EP "Dogg's Out" and an MV for the single "말로해". The album consists of five tracks and is available on CD and also for digital download. On October 25, 2013 they held their debut stage on Show Champion.

From July 7th to 9th the fandoms of BigStar, HotShot, Madtown, Nu'est, Snuper and ToppDogg are collaboratively streaming here on YouTube. You all better stan them. Seriously they have tried to promote themselves all they could. They were one of the few kpop groups that started the trend to feature in YouTube videos from these youtubers that are all about korean culture. They made so many videos in different channels to get exposure (for example ChoNunMigookSaram, LatinaSaram, We Fancy ...they have even collaborated with KVille). They also collaborated with Soompi for the Topp Dogg: All Kill series. Jenissi, Yano and Atom also tried SMTM. And not only that, but Atom aka Sanggyun is also in Produce 101 to help Topp Dogg the recognition they deserve and I am so mad they are still not hyped up enough for all their efforts...

No one understands. My heart is broken and forever will be. I cannot express how much I miss them all. They were all so talented and had so much potential. Its so sad that the stars just didn't align for them. I miss them so much its unreal. Every time I hear this song my heart shatters. I’ve been following MinSung on ig for a few months now but never knew he had been in kpop until my friend blew up my messages, freaking out after recognizing him. They're legit the only group I've ever cried for, the love I have for them, and will continue to have for them, is so big I don't think it will ever die out. I was going through some tough times during the beginning of seventh grade and I'm so happy I came across that video of them pronouncing western names. it’s been years since i first discovered topp dogg. they were my first kpop group. when i found them i had just entered middle school and i was going through a really hard time. now i’m in high school and i’m mainly a girl group stan (+ateez, skz, bts) but at the end of the day, i’ll always come back to topp dogg and ill always support the og 13 members :( <3

i hate the fact that i will never be able to listen to and fully enjoy one of their best title tracks without my heart aching and on the verge of tears bc it was their last comeback as toppdogg and as 9 man if i could make any group blow up and get on top id choose them one of the best groups ive ever had the fortune to know by far they really were the whole package had it all amazing discography so much energy hope and potential they were the funniest and sweetest group ive ever known in all my years of stanning kpop they should be on top right now as 13 i despise stardom and hunus with every fibre of my being these sweethearts worked so hard and gave their all poured their hearts into all they did and into promotions they deserve everything. i miss them. supporting them were one of the best years and most fun things in my life i never cared about a mf kpop group that much i would give them the world if i could.

I don't want them to disband, ever. This group holds something so special to just them that no other group (in my opinion) has. I am not sure what it is exactly, but I just know it's there when I see them. I have not been with ToppDogg since the very beginning, but I have been here for the last three years and I can honestly say that some of my most favorite songs are theirs. This one included. I really do not want them to ever disband. I want them to always be together making music. I know that at some point they will leave ToppDogg and go their separate ways, but I really don't want that day to ever come. I have been strong seeing the other members that have left leave, but I don't think I would be able to live happily knowing these nine decided to call it quits. This group is just so special, it would be a crime to let them separate. I want them to be like Shinhwa, still together for 19 years, and even more. I want to keep hearing their new music and seeing which different style they will master next. I want to keep listening to their older music and appreciating the fact they mastered classical music with a modern twist, appreciate that they did a retro style as an anniversary gift to us ToppKlass, appreciate that debut and how magical it was and is. I never want ToppDogg to give up, to say they can't be together anymore, and it hurts me to know that that day might come sooner than what I want. Because of this, I wish HUNUS would have sent more ToppDogg members to Produce 101 Season 2. I think they would have gained more popularity and love if they had. I believe that Sanggyun will do well, but it would have been smarter to send more members, to ensure people know about them. I JUST REALLY DON'T WANT THIS GROUP THAT I HOLD SO DEAR TO MY HEART TO EVER LEAVE! I especially don't want them to leave without making their dreams fully come true. Please HUNUS, please people watching Produce 101 & voting, see the MAGIC that this group has, don't let them disappear.

There's just something about Topp Dogg that's different than other groups, but just like you I've never been able to put my figure on exactly what it is. I feel like they're my family, along with ToppKlass, and whenever they're inactive I miss them so much. Not just as a fan, but as someone who loves them. I don't want them to disband, but i know that they'll have to someday. It does comfort me, though, to know that each member will do perfectly well on their own, as shown right now as they pursue their individual activities.

...topp dogg is so special...precious, fragile, talented. If only they got the attention they deserve. I must say. Maybe they could've sent more members along with a-tom. Not saying that they should be going to trainee shows for support but that may be all they have left. I've always loved topp dogg so much and we all realized. There's only three more years to do something for them if we love them truly because if we don't do something within the three years then we'll lose one of the most amazing groups out there.
