Muita gente o faz, é a makeup e o look
Oh Deus acorda!
Oh mano acorda!
The song "United" by Portuguese group United is a social commentary on the materialistic and shallow aspects of society. The lyrics question why people focus so much on wealth and status, and urges listeners to wake up and realize that money and possessions do not bring true happiness. The first verse highlights the fact that we take life seriously, but often avoid thinking about death by avoiding the graveyard. Instead, we focus on making money and accumulating possessions, as these are the things that seem to count in society. The second verse challenges the idea that material possessions and wealth are worth more than personal values and integrity. The chorus urges listeners to reject the influence of money and avoid being blinded by the pursuit of wealth.
Throughout the song, there is a sense of frustration with society and the way in which people are sucked into a cycle of consumerism and materialism. The lyrics suggest that people are willing to compromise their values and betray themselves in order to gain wealth and status, and that this is ultimately a hollow pursuit. The use of surfing as a metaphor is interesting, as it suggests that there are alternative ways of living and "riding the waves" of life that don't involve buying into materialistic values. Overall, "United" is a powerful call to action to reject the superficiality of modern society and prioritize what truly matters.

Look around
They're moving in
Hold your ground
When they begin
We can do it, we can do it
And if they want to they can try
But they'll never get near
Then they can get out of here
Gonna keep on driving
Never stop
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all
So keep it up
Don't give in
Make a stand
We're gonna win
We can do it, we can do it
And if they want to they can try
But they'll never get near
Then they can get out of here
Gonna keep on driving
Never stop
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all
So keep it up
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all
United, united, united we stand
United we never shall fall
United, united, united we stand
United we stand one and all
@modernmedeamedia
I had a cassette tape with British steel on side A and Number of the Beast on side B. It was the only thing I listened to for a full year. Good memories. Amazing music.

Nice.
I'm so stuck back in the day.
@davidknichal6629
@@justjeff3107 There is still good music out there but very very rare

It's so rare that it's an endangered species these days.
@k.p.loveraft775
Seems like a good cassette!
Used to make those myself. 90 minute tape could host two albums if they weren't overlong...
@ecki6447
You lucky. There are the 2 best albums of all time.
@nathanstevens259
Let's take a second to appreciate that great bassline and tone that drives this song.
@lorenamares1427
Oh, yes.❤
@MPWEST83
I'll never forget the first time I heard this. I was in high school, in football, and we were in practice, and our coach put this on and turned it up, and it made me work out even harder. What an uplifting song!
Edit: This song means so much more now that our country has become so divided and full of strife. Whoever reads this, whoever you are, I wish you and ALL of your loved ones perfect health, prosperity, blessings, safety, peace, unity, and much love. ❤

Same here, but on the school bus in 9th grade, 1981-ish. I became a Judas Priest fan, and have been since!
