The lyrics of Valeria Lynch's song Para Cantarle a la Vida are a reflection of the search for meaning and happiness in life. The opening stanza talks about a journey to find oneself in life and face it head-on. It's a questioning of life, wondering why there seems to be more sorrow than joy that we encounter daily, and why we have to forget about these sad moments. Valeria captures the human struggle of trying to find a different story when we are fed up with how things are going in our lives. However, as we keep seeking meaning and purpose, we realize that the world is full of people who are indifferent to our struggles, and we must chart our own path and not follow the crowd, even though it may lead us nowhere.
The next stanza is a call for self-awareness, an invitation to wake up and live life to the fullest, forgetting about fear and pain. We are urged to be truthful to ourselves and others and look for love, as this is what gives meaning to life. The song emphasizes the importance of hope, reminding us that we can still sing to life, even when we feel like we can't. In a world where we are all struggling to find meaning and navigate life's ups and downs, the lyrics of Para Cantarle a la Vida are a source of inspiration, urging us to be authentic, seek love and hope, and face life head-on.
