Overall Meaning

The lyrics to sukekiyo's song aftermath convey a sense of melancholy and loss. The opening line, "Kaze wa koe sameta yume irochi e" can be interpreted as a reference to a dream that has been shattered or a hope that has been lost. The singer is acknowledging that the wind has passed and the dream has become cold. The next phrase, "Aru negai sotto wa yaru," suggests that despite this loss, there is still a desire to continue on and make efforts towards this hope, albeit quietly.

The following lines paint a picture of a person who is conflicted and unsure of themselves. They describe someone who has both honest qualities and the ability to deceive, and this contrast creates a sense of confusion. The lyrics "yasu nani to wa anata no miru yume no kara" suggest that the person being described is seeking comfort and stability in their dreams, but is unable to fully trust in them. The repeated phrase "wasurenai, wasuretai" conveys a sense of longing and regret, as if the singer wishes they could forget certain memories but also fears losing them permanently.

Overall, the song aftermath offers a haunting and emotionally complex reflection on the nature of loss, memory, and the difficulty of moving on.

I have mixed feelings about this song. I feel that the intro has some deep chords that could be developed into something much darker, but all that atmosphere is lost as soon as the song starts :/ For me it's just pretty monotonous and uninteresting overall. All the other songs are amazing me so far, though.

just my opinion, but i highly doubt that a normal chord-based acoustic could be more interesting than this song. you could argue that the instrumentals go on for a little too long, but that's basically it.

let it enter your heart bro.
