C'mon Everybody
Eddie Cochran Lyrics

Well c'mon everybody and let's get together tonight
I got some money in my jeans and I'm really gonna spend it right
Well been a-doin' my homework all week long
And now the house is empty and my folks have gone
Ooh, c'mon everybody

Well my baby's number one but I'm gonna dance with three or four
And the house'll be a-shakin' from the bare feet a-slappin' on the floor
When you hear that music you can't sit still
If your brother won't rock you then your sister will
Ooh, c'mon everybody

Well we'll really have a party but we gotta put a guard outside
If the folks come home I'm afraid they're gonna have my hide
They'll be no more movies for a week or two
No more runnin' round with the usual crew
Who cares, c'mon everybody

C'mon everybody

Rockabilly never dies.

Fernando Maron

@Jane Smith The term Rockabilly is revisionist for sure, but they're already playing the so called 'rockabilly style' back in the 50's way before The Cramps or Stray Cats, just listen to 'Love me' by The Phantom made in 1958

Jane Smith

@F.G. D. Rockabilly is not rock n roll, ok then (lol). Who would you say are the earliest examples of rockabilly? Please share. Hint: naming The Cramps or The Stray Cats would be incorrect.

Jane Smith

@roland johansson So do you not think rockabilly existed in the 1950s? What era do you think it came from? Who are the earliest examples? Please share.

This IS NOT Rockabilly! It is 50's Rock'N'Roll. Can't you people never learn? Rockabilly is different, BUT it is very popular to call this stuff what it is NOT.
